What a great flight, plane looks so good with that afterburner. What EDF unit is in this one, I have this one in Orlando got to go get it and start modifying lol.

I was amazed at how it fly after I tuned it in, despite how heavy it is. It's the 9-bladed Freewing stock 6S EDF. I just added an Avian ESC for the reverse thrust. 👍

@@enzok6414 I can’t wait to get my hands on this one the one in Florida is the old outrunner model, probably going to add that new 1960kv from Freewing that come s in the Eurofighter, heard its lighter and definitely looks to push that Eurofighter really nice!

This one or the new J10?… I’ve always wanted this one

This one lands better than the J10. If I were to pick between them, I will go with the F15. J10 looks more scale.

Thanks for the follow up! That says a lot. They put the same motor from the j10 into the f15 this month so I think it will be even more fun with that and some better exhaust nozzles . Keep up the nice work 👍🏾

@@Hype_RC No problem. :) The upgraded F15 may have the speed brake removed. At least that's what I heard. I think the 9-bladed motor is actually more efficient according to the bench test. Of coz, I'm no aerodynamic engineer. They may perform differently in the air. So far, there is not much of a difference between them. The 12-bladed does have more thrust at low airspeed.

How do you know the f15 is getting a upgrade/updates?

Awesome, what esc did you use for thrust reverse?
@enzok64149 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching. I think it is an Avian 130A ESC Version A. The Ver A stands for longer battery lead. The same ESC used in the Viper 90mm jet. Standard Avian 130A battery lead would be too short.

@@enzok6414 do you have a picture or video of the setup. It comes with a external BEC right, so you have to disconnect the orange middle wire right? And leave the Bec disconnected?
@enzok64149 ай бұрын
@@Reptielenfreak I removed the old Stock Freewing ESC which came with a external BEC (one of the reasons I removed the stock setup. Coz I'm not a fan of external BEC flopping around on the battery lead). The Avian 130A ESC has a built in BEC. Which you can adjust the BEC voltage from 6V-8.4V. Make sure you set the bec voltage at 6V. All the settings on Avian ESC is done through the Spektrum radio interface. If you don't have a Spektrum radio. You can either buy one of their ESC program box. Or find a alternative ESC from Freewing. To my understanding, The new Freewing ESCs would come with reverse ability. unlike the Avian ESC. The new Freewing ESC would use an extra signal lead to operate the reverse. that means an extra channel you will need. Search this "Freewing 120A ESC with 8A BEC with Reverse Thrust Function".
