I've had Morimoto fogs on my f150. Ditched them and went with the Diode Dynamics SS3. They're a lot better.

I ended up buying the LED fog assemblies from 4x4 Truck LEDs. I really like them because of the OEM look, price was less than morimoto, LED temperature color matched my LED headlights almost spot on, and the improvement over halogen was night/day difference.

How do you like the light bar on the rack? I imagine that you will lose some light output due to your roof? Do you have any videos showing the light bar at night from the driver pov?post? I am thinking of getting one just don't know where to mount it.

Hey Capt! I actually removed the light bar from the rack. PA has some really wonky laws regarding light bars and off-road lights in general (have to be on their own lighted switch, have to be covered at all times while driven on the road, etc). So, instead of the headache of dealing with law enforcement I decided to remove it and just leave the rack. I have read and seen that some of the light will reflect off of the roof so you do lose some output. If you have a chase rack, roll bar, or headache rack, I would recommend doing a couple of pod lights versus a bar. The individual pods could be moved and better tune your light package for what you need. For example, you could have the outer two lights angled more toward the ditches versus straight front, maybe one facing backwards, etc. Through my years with Jeeps I have found you can get really good light output to the front of a vehicle with added lights on the bumper or a push bar, etc of the vehicle where you won't have much glare or loss. I feel as if my truck has sufficient forward facing light output with the ANZO LED headlights and KC LED lights on the push bar. Where I really lack light is to the sides and rear, but I don't do enough off road driving with my truck to need that kind of output. Hope that helps a little bit - basically you need to evaluate what you need or want the extra light for. 👍😎

@@GearTubeTV thanks for the reply and ya kinda sounds like a headache with the restrictive laws. I'm going to get a roof rack so I kinda have no choice except to mount in front, probably over the windshield. I plan on putting pod lights on the headache rack facing the rear/ bed to help when securing the atv in the bed.
