The MBRP has a deeper tone and sounds really really good. The Roush seems to have just a little slight rasp to it. That's what I heard I might be wrong but I did hear it slightly. I'm using bluetooth stereo headphones and it does pick up sounds really good

I had a 2.5" MBRP catback on my '18 F150. I was going up the hill in one town I use to live in, running around 2500-3000 RPM and stopped in a parking lot. I had a cop come up behind me thinking I didn't have any exhaust, but he saw the tips on the side and let me be. 😅

Definitely like the deep sound from the MBRP! I dont like the location of either. I prefer more of the dual straight pipes.

I went with the MBRP 409SS version for my 2016 F150, it's been 5 years and I have absolutely NO regrets. I have received many compliments and several other F150 owners have asked me what brand the exhaust is.

I think the roush would be the perfect all around exhaust for that truck. Somewhat quiet at low RPMs and nice and loud at the upper RPMs. Nice video! Keep em comin!

I have a Roush system on my FX4 and it was VERY loud, reminded me of the old glass pack systems from back in the day, lots of popping and kind of a harsh sound. In my opinion, the way it comes out of the box the Roush is not a family friendly exhaust if the truck is your daily driver. I ended up ordering a polished SS straight through turbo muffler style muffler from Summit Racing and added it to the mid pipe of the Roush. That did the trick for me, mellowed it out but it was still a nice sound at full throttle. Great videos by the way, you guys do a great job.

I put the MBRP 3" cat back single side exit T409 on my '19 f150 5.0 and I love it. It's got a real nice rumble without being obnoxious.

@@BC08 there is some interior noise. But not enough that you can't hold a conversation. Once I reach cruising speed it's really not an issue. For me at least. I've had it a couple years now and am still very happy with it.

I got the borla S type duel tip on my 17 5.0 and it’s pretty sweet, no drone highway loud when you’re into it and quite when cruising, expensive but with Canadian winters with salt and brine on the roads you need the stainless unless you want a new one ever 5 years or so

I love the exhaust! I would highly recommend the flowmaster outlaw series. I believe it comes with the super 44 muffler, tiny little fucker! Hahaha. I did install it myself. I have my truck lifted a little with 33” toyos, hardest part was getting factory exhaust off. I can send some photos if you like.

What engine those trucks have a V8 or a V6 if it's a V6 it sounds great please let us know in the future the engine size so we can have a better perspective I'm making that decision to put an exhaust system I have the EcoBoost in my 2016 150 but thank you I always enjoy your videos keep up the good work

I have a 2019 roush f150 with the level 1 exhaust it sounds good but not obnoxious but they also have a level 2, and 3 that way louder . I like the level 1 it sounds good if you get on it but doesn't annoy the neighbors when you come home but I'm 55 if you're 20 you probably would want the loudest . You already have a truck that draws attention if you get to loud you will probably draw the wrong type of attention.

They both sound good. I noticed that the Roush exhaust sounds like a Cobra/GT Mustang. Yes I know the F150 has a 5.0 engine. The MBRP exhaust doesn't give off that Cobra/GT sound.

I put a Flowmaster system on my truck. It sounds great but the chrome tips yellowed very quickly. I also have an Airaid intake along with a tune. It's loud. It will rattle windows in the neighborhood.

Just ordered SPD high flow cats and MBRP exhaust yesterday with SCT live wire ts tuner. Not sure how the high flow cats will effect the sound but liking the MBRP sound better in the video. OEM cats are cooked so figured I’d have a little fun with fixing the issue. 2016 F150 Lariat Special Edition, 131k miles and the cats are falling apart internally, can hear the metal rattling around in there.

Original 2011 Raptor 6.2L Supercrew owner...And I AGREE..you get what you pay for..If you are on a budget, its understandable... It took me over a year and half figuring out what exhaust i wanted to do.. I ended up purchasing Corsa Extreme....Now, its in the $11-1200 neighborhood if im not mistaken.. Corsa offers 2 levels of this exhaust..Its cat-back..The extreme will piss of your neighbors on cold starts..It deletes the resonator on the extreme... So punching the gas pedal, she roars...But even if you dont go extreme, she still sings beautifully...NO Drone on either... I will also say, use youtube to your benefit..If you are unsure of the noise(sound) of a particular exhaust, most likely you will find a video with the model of truck you are looking to do..Thats what I did, and thats how i came across Corsa..I absolutely LOVE the way Corsa sounds with my 6.2L... And i just want to say, in NO way am I receiving ANY compensation from Corsa... Just a very HAPPY customer...

I have a 2018 tundra with the TRD dual catback exhaust with Black chrome tips. It sounds so good , much deeper than these for sure , but I’m thinking of getting an F-150 5.0 . And if I do I’m going for the Roush exhaust

Only problem with the MBRP, the material used. down south you would be fine, anywhere that salt is used for snow, that would rust out in a year or maybe two.

I have a 2022 5.0 F150 4x4 with the MBRP 3'' single exhaust, my complaint is with the 10 speed transmission the exhaust has what sounds like a gurgling sound as it gets in the higher gears. It sounds terrible at highway speeds but great when you start up or start off. Any ideas on what causes the gurgling sounds? thanks

That's probably your cylinder deactivation, I believe Ford added that in 2021.

I have roush and every time I pull in anywhere I get thumbs up or someone asked me what exhaust I have . It sounds great. It is loud. I never had MBRP but had Gibson and flowmaster. Roush blows them away sound, fit, and quality Hope this helps someone

When I had my 2013 mustang with Roush axle backes my dealer didn't give me any trouble as far as warranty. Do you think putting after market cat back on a new F150 5.0 would effect the warranty in any way?

Like you said Roush is more. But with MBRP you get a unique sound. Yes you might have to adjust something. But that is is included in modifying your vehicle. Roush sounds muffled. MBRP has sound that makes look for the vehicle that is miles away but you can hear it.....
