The Raiju is definitely a force to be reckoned with, the anti-MG armor and firing glitches will probably be fixed eventually. I may add too, that attack helicopters have kinda come back into fruition for ground attacks, if of course one is good enough to keep the thing away from the damn railgun.

I spend 90% of my time on GTA flying the armed aircraft, mainly fixed wing but occasionally helicopters. I feel very confident in saying that the Raiju is absurdly over powered, provided you have reasonable command of the aircraft. It may fall just behind the Lazer in the turning fight but the combination of stealth, which can be toggled on and off as needed to confuse your opponent, swapping to hover mode which can prove advantageous if timed well, and speed, which allows you to control the fight, 100% gives the Raiju a solid edge. I would be slightly more concerned when fighting a Pyro since they turn noticeably tighter than a lazer and have a high enough top speed that they can, briefly, keep pace with a Raiju, possibly long enough to use their spamable missiles to force the Raiju back into a turn. As of right now the Pyro’s guns are no threat to the Raiju but I expect that to change. I see a lot of people bring up the B11. The B11 is no threat to the Raiju as long as you play to the Raiju’s advantages, namely it’s speed. You can’t turn with a B11, no other aircraft can. But the B11 will never catch you. Use your speed and stealth to control the fight. And listen, there’s no point in talking about this thing’s capability in air to air combat if we aren’t talking about what the aircraft brings to the table, such as stealth and record breaking speed.

I’ve been in jets all my life aswell and used the b11 ever since launch and i’d have to say raiju isn’t nearly as effective at killing ground targets as the b11 in my opinion the barrage and especially the bombs make a great combo. Raiju is just too slow with vtol and easier to hit rather then the b11 if you kinda mastered it with map knowledge where the enemy is and where from and whenever to drop a bomb with being on top of your target when straving down is much nicer rather then the cannon and pray you hit first or don’t get imploded by his “teammate”. My opinion tho!

I'd say if you have skill, B11 is better. You didn't mention the B11 cannons are WAYYY more power than the 160 cannons, you can also customize the B11 more, you can put anti radar, or flash for missiles

Nah if you have skill the raiju is better. The b11 is too op. Literally has better characteristics than any other plane other than straight line speed. But if you’re fighting someone who cares. It has zero weaknesses and I am yet to shoot a single of those stupid fucking things down. I have tried every plane and still never manage it. I hate them, they’re op, and just horrible. I’d gladly fight a decent pyro pilot or starling pilot than the brain dead ape of a b11 pilot because those other planes actually require some semblance of skill. I rather use the B-11 because 95% of players can’t use the Raiju like you can so it makes it easy to destroy them with the turning radius advantage, but if I was going against you then I’ll just take out the Raiju and probably hold Ls 60% of the time. Yep, and yea typically the b11 can take out the average guy in the Raiju, especially the ones who don't know how to use the proper speed control with it or use VTOL. The only issue really with random players is how sneaky the Raiju can be, especially on the B11 since it's so slow.

@@hummerguy I’ve been leaning on my rear view button to the point where I’ve been called a hacker by multiple Raiju and ghost organization players. Just fly straight in the air and lean on that rear view button, or if you have a good pair of headset fly up a bit and turn your engines off on the b-11 then slightly tap the gas button and just cruise, you’ll hear the engines every single time 👍

At low altitude the B11 can't keep up with the Raiju. At high altitude i think they're evenly matched because the Raiju has superior manouverability but the B11 has superior armour and a gun with faster firerate and less spread.

Overall I am happy to see the end of jet tryhards and griefers. In dogfighting the F160 is unbeatable. And for taking out ground targets the Savage and Hunter are likely to become the go-to weapons, but they have weaknesses that mean we won't be seeing them being used by brainless griefers.

I bought the hunter before and sold it because I sucked at flying and shooting with it. Now I bought it back one of the weeks it was ob sale for like 2 mil and I can absolutely destroy ground targets. I used to be a much better jet pilot and me and my brother play together and he's become more of the fighter pilot and ground fighter and I'm more of a helo pilot now for ground support and a ground fighter. Definitely gotta get my dog fighting skills back up to par with jets and planes 😂

Can't deny, I really don't think this jet has any place in GTA:O. Just simply down to a functional degree, the Raiju pretty much outclasses all other aircraft, regardless of what fields it may lack in. Fighter aircraft don't deserve, nor need stealth capability in this game. Bare in mind if y'all reply, I'm looking at this from the perspective of 90% of the playerbase. Not everyone's some experienced aviation ace who's got the situational awareness of a Jedi in the sky, so consider that carefully before coming up with a verdict on this plane's place in the game. If you ask me, it ought to have been kept exclusive to helicopters and bomber aircraft.

For players who might not have access to explosive rounds, or even a railgun for that matter, they'd be pretty much entirely at the attacking player's mercy unless they manage their plane poorly enough to be susceptible to rockets. Helicopters are *always* susceptible to rockets of any kind, regardless of who's shooting them. And as for ground players going stealth, is that the kind of PvP environment you'd want? Everyone off the radar as often as possible, simply because someone shelled out 5+ million for a jet that frankly didn't even need the features it currently has in order to be competent.

I think it deserves it place in GTAO, but the thing I agree on is the stealth, in my opinion the stealth should've at least been at only high altitudes like the bomber planes. The bullet damage is far to much too, I tried dogfighting a guy in freemode and shot at him for minutes, he didn't die until he crashed (take note, this guy was an absolute trash pilot). Now for the rest I can deal with it, Im perfectly fine with its Agility, speed, cannons, and VTOL etc. This is a 5th gen fighter jet after all.

I take down most Raiju pilots with my B-11. I force them to come up ti high altitudes where its fastest. Even with vtol, it cant keeo up with the B-11 tight turning radius. The only way they smoke me is if they pop up on me using stealth. But if they don't get me with first strike, theyre done. I also like killing them with the Rouge. The way you can slow down and stall out mimics vtol. Plus the rough has an extremly tight radius and maintains speed at low altitude. Most pepole end up crashing trying to get me. Sometimes its good to be slow.😅

Since all the nerfs B11 all the way. Raiju's are so easy to kill and the armour has saved me from ground snipers which was a problem in the Lazer before. Mastered to kill with the cannon on ground too with the B11 since its so stable. So much better than the Lazer (I wonder how the armour would have handled the old lazer's cannon). I would also like to bring up a few points, while both aircraft are big targets the raiju is considerably easier to hit given their roughly the same size but take up different areas, the b11 has long thin wings and a skinny chassis, while the raiju is a solid triangle and has more surface area to shoot

Buy for what you need, if you are dogfighting or shooting down ground targets, choose the B11, contrary to what's been said the missiles, bombs, and cannons can bring down most targets, of your chasing fast aircraft or want to ambush cargo choose the Raiju (we don't condone cargo griefing if you see a cargo griefer kill on sight)

Words cannot describe how much I hate the b11. It’s a lose lose situation. And don’t @ me saying I’m a bad pilot I have videos of consistently beating pyros, lasers, hydras, raijus, and a few starlings in my rouge alone. And I’m a little less experienced in the pyro but I’d say I’ve gotten my fair share of kills with that thing. That being said, I have yet to kill a b11 with any plane that I fly even my own b11 can’t kill those things. Its handling is too good and can make any brain dead pilot look good because it just outperforms anything. Turns sharper than a pyro, hits harder than a rouge, shoots faster than a laser, has the same armor as the raiju, has the same accuracy as a molotok with the guns, bombs, barrage rockets you get the idea. I absolutely despise this plane with all of my heart because it’s simply too op. At least the raiju has the weakness of not turning that great and is basically a flying dartboard. Fuck the b11 and if you fly one I’m gonna go on a limb and say you’re probably not a good pilot bc you fly one. It’s the mk2 of the airplane world, just this annoying little shit stain that never leaves you alone except there is no good counter for it

How its inmune to bullets, pilot sniping?

@@sinautor16 if your winning the dogfight and they go in vtol, you can go up and dive bomb them with non lock on rockets

@@bl.adan_ But they can get out of vtol really quick, the only thing that works for me its geting a hit with lock or not and destoy some control surfaces, then they usually go in vtol to not crash and finaly o do what us said, alltho i use starling and i ussually bomb them for some style points
