Scumacher had the biggest chance to win this race, because he had the car with the fastest top speed and was better car, than the two newer cars comming after him and he had the advantage of having smaller car, so it was easier for him to make overtakes in Monaco, than it is for the two newer cars, that started behind him. No wonder Schumacher got first position so early and nobody could catch him anymore then. If this was Monza. The positions would be bit diffrent, because they got more room for overtakes, so Alonso would not finish as back as 5th place then.

That 95 Ferrari of Jean Alesi was a beautiful looking thing. It might not have been the fastest or the most reliable, but Jean and Gerhard in those cars were the two most exciting to watch. Right up there with jordan 191, for best looking Grand Prix cars ever.

Because they had. Today, the cars are heavier, much larger and have much greater aerodynamic downforce. FIA regulations really, really slow down the development of new cars. If it weren't for the regulations, these cars would drive much much faster!

As they took a car from each decade I assume the 2020's is LEC (Leclerc), the 2010's is ALO(Alonso), 2000's SCH (Schumacher), 1990's is ALE (Alesi), 1980's is VIL (Gilles Villeneuve), 1970's is LAU (Lauda) and 50's is COL (Collins). But none of the remaining two callsigns correspond to any of the drives of the 60's (Ginther, Allison, Mairesse, Baghetti, von Trips, Rodriguez, Bandini, Hill, Scarfiotti, Surtees, Parkes, Amon or Ickx)
