Dog.. im telling you. Grab some k20a2 or any k series 86mm pistons and throw them bad boys up in this f23a.. I just got done building a f23a5 block with f22b1 vtec head and put k20a2 pistons in it since the f23a i bought from jdm of california ended up getting a few spun rod bearings, I'm thinking it has something to due with the oil pressure problem the f series has.. but I ported and shimmed my oem oil pump on this motor and this shit pulls hella hard now.! 😄 🤣 loving this build and its my first time building a motor too. But next I'm getting a bigger camshaft since I got the f23a camshaft installed in the f22b head, I think the cam is holding back some potential for the motor to breathe a bit better. Deltacam camshaft 272 regrind is already on the way! And this is all being done in my 95 cd5 ex I converted to manual. Same color as the new one you just picked up. As soon as I get the power band to my liking.. im going to focus on the cosmetic side of things, right now, the car pulls just as hard if not harder than a gs-r integra and b16 si civic no joke and no word of a lie or any type of hyping my whip up any bit..lol. this is all inspired by your videos, I went from not even knowing how to swap a engine, or knowing much about cars to building my own personal engines and loving every bit of it mang! Thanks! And keep reppin for the accord community. They'll soon know how these cars can go H.A.M. !

And I hear you about the power being down low and at shifts there's no torque lag from one gear to another. I was first kinda doubtful at buying the f23a but it makes me happy everyday I drive it now. But ill work my way up to a f20b soon, had to get my feet wet first

Check it out. I did another pull with my exhaust leak fixed it gained a bit on the lower rpm range I noticed. But it'll be alot better by two days from now when roskos adapter plate is here

Gut the f23 lower like you do h22 manifolds. With some work and some ingenuity you can get a 70mm t.b matched to the upper. The f23 manifold has a fair bit of potential in it

Its definitely gotta be modded to fit. I used a whole f23 header and downpipe tho so maybe yours will work with the cb7 downpipe

Hey driven. So i have a CG accord with the f32a1 and it runs great but i want to put a chipped ecu in it. Ive tried a few but the car runs like shit even tho i have a chip with the f23a1 base map. I can barely drive it. So my question is as far as yu know...do i definitely need a tune along with the chipped ecu?
