My 2016 F250 developed a ABS issue around 50-60k. I hooked up a OBDII scanner up to the truck and found I had a fault in the front left abs sensor, and the right rear. I pulled the front ABS sensor and found metal shavings on it, that along with a small bearing noise starting to develop I decided to replace the whole hub/abs sensor. Replacing the hub fixed the noise and the ABS issues in the front of the truck (at least for a while). I tried to repair the rear issue by replacing the sensor but it did not fix the issue, so I didn't try to fix it anymore for a while. Recently I was motivated to start repairing the small issues on the truck to start preparing for overlanding. Recently the "check brake system" light came on so I ran scans again and found no brake related codes but still had some ABS codes, the right rear still had issues and the front left had another issue. After inspecting the rear and doing some diagnosing in the front found that the sensor was faulty in the front, and found a broken wire right behind the OEM truck side of the ABS sensor plug in the back, after I repaired the rear I bought another sensor for the front and it fixed EVERTHING!! FINALLY!!!!!
