F250 exhaust removal 2017 and up

Start up at 9 mins 10 secs. Hey guys first off I'm not a professional film maker, I only use a cell phone so cut me some slack. I couldn't find any good videos of the actually removal or install of a full exhaust system so I made one, hope it helps someone out. Also threw in alittle info on the sotf wiring and egr system. Spray all your bolts, nuts, hangers, and sensors down with some kind of lubricant. My truck has the ezlynk with ppei tuning 0-200 horse program. First 5 mins is the old system ,next few is the sensor locations then egr sotf switch and finally the startup. Let me know what else you guys would like to see.

Is there a kit that still has a muffler or is this straight pipe only? Looks like the instructions has an optional muffler?

How much time would it take you to return it back to stock? We have yearly emissions testing so just trying to decide if it’s worth the hassle.

So I have one question.... can the dealership see the changes made to the trucks computer? Let’s say you put the exhaust back on and put it back to stock to take it onto the dealership, can the dealership tell that the computer was altered?

Hi Mister I have a question on you i'm from Italy I want to deactivate the EGR valve on the engine control unit on my 2017 Powerstroke, Do I also have to mount the delete kit? Thank you

You don't have to but it's a better option, also if you don't tune it then it will throw an engine code.

918Deerhunter I did mine with 300 miles on my 19 F250 and I would highly recommend soak the bolts for at least 12 hours before trying to remove egr.

Is the Exhaust Intermediate Pipe (Rear) a straight through tube or is it a resonator?

Did you have to plug any sensors back up into the factory wiring harness or did you remove all sensors completely?

Removed them completely since the computer overrides any codes it doesn't cause it any issue.

Got a question for you. If I pull the cats off I will have to throw the ezlynk on and do computer shit or I can just pull cats with no issues to anything else? Seems like common sense but i have to ask

You have to use a tuner on these newer trucks, if not it will go into limp mode.

Know I’m 2 years late but I’ve been looking everywhere for some advice, I recently got a bone stock 2019 f250 with 34k miles on it and every upshift and the 6th to 5th downshift it seems a little hard, almost like there is a small bump in the road. It’s just hard enough for you to notice it if you weren’t thinking about it but not really harsh that it throws you around. I was wondering if this is normal because the truck is stock and not deleted. or should I have the dealer check it out. Any info helps I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t find much on this

Honestly mine shifted smooth as butter before it was tuned, I have a Trans tune as well and mine shifts hard. If it was only on take off I'd say check the U-joint to see if it's loose but every shift seems like an issue if it doesn't have a check engine light I don't think the dealer will help you. Just for the hell of it climb under and grab the drove shift near the Axle and shake it side to side and up and down to see of there is any movement. Are you the original owner or did you buy used? If you bought used it could very well have been deleted drove hard and having an issue with the torque converter and just returned to stock for trade in or something as simple as low fluid.

I ordered an ezlynk with spe tunes the other day, when it comes in should I delete the truck and hope the trans tunes fix it? Or take it to the dealer and have them look at it and service the trans and see if that helps first.

Still running it average 20 across country, in town sucks around 15.

You started with 13.3 MPG. What was it after the deletion? Did your acceleration get better?

Perfect man. I'll look and see exactly how many miles I've got with it unplugged but its several thousand. I've not had a single issue no codes thrown either I'm happy with it.

I never ended up deleting mine just unplugging because of the chance for broken bolts, I now have 100,000 trouble free miles on mine.

@@saint9336 I installed my tune before I deleted just to make sure the upload goes smooth. If you delete it then have a problem with the tuner uploading a file your stuck.

I think I'm going to have to delete mine, def injector is shot and they are on backorder for at least another month. I have to pull my trailer to another job in a little over a week and the POS decides to go.
