One of the coolest Ford Super Duty trucks ever built was lost in an extreme fire. Here's a look back at the build, promotion and the demise of BDS's Project SD126. With a shortened wheelbase, "Raptor-ized" bodywork, and BDS suspension, SD126 lived a charmed life right up to the day she died, including Four Wheeler and Diesel magazine covers. I run a Zone 6" lift on my 04 Chevy 2500 & I love it. It also saved my life. I was hit from behind & my truck was totaled. The 01 Chevy that hit me went below me instead of into me. I transferred all the parts from that truck to another 04 & the lift lives on. Great job BDS !!!

That was one of the baddest trucks I have seen in a while. With the little wheeling you were able to do with it, you got some amazing footage. A truck that was built to run that was actually ran! Great! Whatever is built next, it should be built to the max like this one was. Can't wait!!

I know that when it comes to wheeling, shorter and smaller vehicles are usually the best choice so you can get into and out of tight spaces. But as someone who owns a long truck, I'd love to see a dune runner build of a log bed truck, regular cab or 4 door. I think it would be cool to see some big long box diesel tearing up the sand and showing your truck doesn't need to be short to kick ass. Or if you really want to go balls to the wall with something almost no one ever does, build a big 4 door long box truck with a 6v53 Detroit diesel in it. Trust me, that would turn every head in the US.

Sorry for the loss of the truck especially sorry for the owner who lost his livelihood with the entire warehouse being a loss I know the passion that goes into a build like this is intense come back on top with a amazing new build just make it a Chevy this time lol had to put some humor in this due to how depressing this story was but really what matters most is no lives were lost .

What about a 4 door Super Duty, shortened to the same wheelbase as this one was, or very close to it. You don't need much of a bed anyway. Top the bed with a shortened version of the fastback that is out now for an oversized SUV look
