I loved this game. Put 1000s of hours on it. No assists. I had several times on the leaderboards at the time. Including being the 3rd fastes time in Monza in the Americas hahahah GOOD TIMES. Id play until 6am the online replay mode with other guys and then get a hour sleep and go to school. This game is very special to me. ALmost 10 years after, I finally had the chance to play the 3 monitor arcade machine, but I was so poor at the time that I couldnt spend more then a couple of credits! Anyway.. thanks for the memories dude!

There is a way to use a decent wheel for this game. There's an adaptor that lets you use ps2 or Saturn controllers for the DC and I think some of them work with force feedback. I think the adaptor is called the TOTAL CONTROL. I bought it specifically to play fighting games on the DC because I love the saturn controller for fighting games and hate the DC D-pad for them.

Great game with awesome graphics. It has a long learning curve, but is very fun once you learn to play it well. I played it a lot online as well, and were beat most of the time, even though I could play pretty well!

The online on this game was so strange. First you race, then you watch a replay of a bunch of Japanese players kicking your ass!
@CasperEgas8 жыл бұрын
True. But it was one of the first games I ever played online, so I was amazed that I was actually playing people from Japan.

I find myself liking these retrospective thoughts/retro reviews narratives either done like this or the AVGN. I don't care for the watchmojo/Panelists/"hey we're goofy with tude! Relate to us, please!" styling. Nice nice

This game was too hard for me. I couldn't stick with it long enough to master it. I'd try and retry but couldn't win races. Still a fun experience for a while. I played more of the other DC racers than this, although I respect Suzuki' s team and their efforts.

this game is awesome! today racing games are boring as hell, especially in the music department. NFS for example, hiphpop, technopop....i miss the rocky OST from Sega Games, JUN SENOUE, come back!!

I bought this one and a wheel cause of Yu, man do I suck with the wheel =)
@implantgames9 жыл бұрын
SegaCDUniverse Wheels are kind of a strange thing to get used to. For one, they really need to be mounted to a desk or a dedicated racing rig. Same goes for the pedals, the good ones will grab the carpet instead of slide around. The floppy loose wheels on the Dreamcast were pretty bad. Even still, there is definitely a learning curve. Ironically enough, I bought a Dreamcast wheel when I bought Crazy Taxi.

implantgames have you tried all dreamcast racing wheels?
@bigmarkdarula6 жыл бұрын
No double shift??? Weak. Also you can connect 2 dreamcasts with the imported cable and play 2 player lan
