The shop is optional its not a main game mechanic like jumping jn mario. You dont have to use the shop to beat the game because its not a main game mechanuc while jumping is which is why you have to do it.

If Murphy wasn't in the game I'd say this was the perfect and best platformer of all times. The Switch version does mediate most but not all annoyances

DKC3 was good, it only had a childish atmosphere compared to the first two, and while levels had a lot of variety, some of them turned out as a bit gimmicky

One aspect a lot of people may not know is that back in the day, not everyone including myself had the luxury to afford an SNES at the time when DKC2 was readily available. The Gameboy was highly affordable and getting the gameboy port was the next best thing to try out the appeal of what was great about the DKC games. I ended up getting this game and also Tetris Attack since I enjoyed their versions of what was offered even though the SNES games are vastly superior.

The game is good, but it doesn't compete with other good platformers of the time (Castlevania, Mega Man, Ninja Gaiden, etc). The game is very short (and relatively easy) and the problem becomes more pronounced once you memorize the levels (and the shortcuts). The correct thing would be that no shortcuts had been added and that to go to the boss you had to search for objects just as you did in The Moon.

It's interesting to note that this game did the FPS cornfield horror section 2 decades prior to Resident Evil Village!

Enter The Matrix does look better on 1080i mode than 480P. However, PAL -version of the game does not support any HD-mode, not even 480P on modded XBOX. Also, wasn't Ricochet Lost Worlds on HD resolution?

Zelda 2 is very easy if you grind levels early in the game and grind lives late in the game.

I'll give you Mad Space and the camera in this game. They're both the worst parts of this game. In fact, the Chaos Emerald hunting stages in general are bad and should've been removed from the game. Thankfully, later titles like Sonic Colors don't have those stages. Rouge and Knuckles ought to have had beat 'em up stages instead. I also hate how 99% of the moves in this game are mapped to the B button. I would've loved it if Sonic and Shadow's stages would've taken up at least 75% of the game. With that said, seems like you had a lot of trouble playing this game. Sonic's gravity switch stage isn't that hard to get through, so long as you keep track of what platform you're on. Also, I personally enjoyed the shooter stages with Tails/Dr. Eggman. Additionally, I'm surprised you never mentioned the Chao Garden.

I’m not going to lie as a kid I loved shadow going damn because my dad didn’t really like it but he also felt he couldn’t say anything because it was a sonic game. So as a kid I felt I got one over on my dad and that felt awesome as a kid lol

I loved it besides the special stages I had to save state the hell out of it , unfortunately never saw final boss cuz my vita stopped charging on my Amy run.

I loved the difficulty in this game. Even to this day I can remember where all the DK coins are and bonus barrels. Even watching your footage, with my last completion being years ago, I could tell where you were missing things. lol. Also, bramble scramble soundtrack is love.

The lane is actually more powerful when you lunge forward to connect your attack. The game forces you to enter you into a more risky situation but rewards you with a more powerful hit. Pretty smart of konami actually.

Ohhh man, I hated this game. DKC2 forever baby. DKC3 was a nightmare. It would be challenging as all hell for a level and then mind numbingly boring for the next 6. The difficulty was very uneven, and the level variety really needed some help.

DKC3 has the most unique bosses in the entire trilogy.

The best 3D Sonic game is Sonic Robo Blast 2. Not only that, it's also the greatest Sonic game of all-time.

This game is awesome, It never came out in Ireland or the UK for that matter, but i did eventually play it on the PC a d what a buggy mess of game , gameplay and controls are fine but the save system is bugged to the point where u need to chest to get to next levels or skip them. Also its a rare Zombie game set in an ACTUAL CITY

If you are wondering what the music garne is it's voperwave and I finally tried Tetris cdi on a better android devices and the OST and visuals are great in this version the only problem I have though is the input delay and yes this does appear in the sami cdi emulator on retroarch too.

You should make a video of gamecube games that support progressive scan

For me it was really the open layout of what level to play that really made the difficulty just all over the place. Instead of Origins' tight progression of levels and then the expanded worlds after you get halfway through, Legends letting you pick whatever means the difficulty curve isn't a curve so much as it is a scribble.
