Nice video, and decent bit of flying too. Thanks for making the effort to share

Fantastic model, great flying! I'm currently looking into floatier models like RES & F5J models myself 🤩

I have a new appreciation for them now that I fly the tethered version.

Wow, from that hand launch you can catch low level thermal! You inspire me, that I build my new 2m wingspan glider without motor ("puRES" glider copy). Do you think that with 2m wingspan I can catch thermal without motor if my glider's weight would be ~390-410g? Of course, the glider would also need to have sufficient stiffness for this. I have to go to the large area for this flying method? Your Medina is awesome! Nice video and great music choice! I like when you change your turnings from 2:30, nice decision to stay in the heat! I am very happy to share your flights!

@@goldenfish77 for sure yes. Stiffness to handle the javelin launch will be very important. Low wing loading is important for hand launch thermals. Good luck.

That's remarkable, David. The hot weather clearly has some benefits!

Beautiful! Lots of skill to catch those low level bubbles. Do you use a variometer? I find it very difficult to fly without it, specially at high altitudes. I'm amazed you can see the model so high!
@CirrusRC4 ай бұрын
@@avisparc yes much easier to see with clouds. Tricky against the blue. I don't use variometer. For competition they are not allowed so important to learn to read the air and not become dependent on help.

Nicely done, is that the Armsoar Medina? I have the Armsoar Phantom (kit) in box waiting it's turn on the build table. I'm currently building a Blejzyk Mefisto 1.9m.
