I like Thai version more, close to realistic nowadays. I can understand each character in 3 ep and that made me glued to it. I love how they really show Thyme's kiddy side, he is still a kid in school at the end of the day. The cast did very well, I don't feel uncomfortable watching him but instead smiling and laughing.

I am a kdrama fan of over 10 years and BOF was my first kdrama which brought me to stanning kpop as well, but F4 Thailand has certain captivating charm as well and I admit Thyme stole my heart in this one. He had the most realistic character for me out of all F4 MLs from different versions. Now I'm a huge fan of Bright♡

Same here. BoF was my first kdrama. I recently watched Thai version without much hopes cos I always thought nothing can beat BoF and I was completely shocked to see something can actually be better than BoF. The story, the actors, their acting.. Everything was just perfect. The best transformation of male lead in all the versions was Thyme. He changed to the humblest one. And Tu surprised me the most by the fact that it was her debut drama but she nailed it. Her character was strong and mature mentally. And not cringe at all. ❤ BTW I'm rewatching BoF just to know the difference. Cos it's high time I had watched it.

I loved the depth of F4 Thailand & how they excuted the story. They took bullying seriously & actually depicted the story well. Not only F4 how the spectors are equally part of this whole mess has been showed so well. The reason of thyme lashing out his anger has been explained well too & i genuinely felt goosebumps when i saw his mom. The ladies of F4 thai are killing it. Just each & everyone is so natural. The friendship of F4 is very natural as well. The chemistry of thyme & gorya is so damn good. Its like they are two bickering ppl acting like their age & environment. They also cut out many unnecessary problematic scenes that wasnt needed for the story. Thyme instead of being jealous of 2nd ML he is more like hurt but he accepts gorya's feelings. At the same time thai added many new things. For example The cyber bullying issue. Thyme asking her out in that tv screen that was so iconic & diff 🤣. Another one is umbrella scene. That came out as total surprise. None of us expected it.🤣 but it was so funny & realistic than another ver. Thyme isnt really rushed about his feelings. He is actually trying to get know gorya more & more. & he is doin so in ep 4. Each day his feelings getting deeper & deeper. At the same time gorya being fond of him with time & she actually asked her in the stair case scene "why do you hurt people with red card? Wheather u mean it or not you shouldnt do this." Gorya is strong & kind. Very much less cringe & annoying. I really love her character.

What I love the most about F4 Thailand is Bright who played the role of Thyme who is a bully who solves everything with violence perfectly to the point that I really hated thyme in the beginning and in the very first time where Gorya stood up against him to defend Hana my heart was beating like crazy and I was shaking praying for Gorya to get out of the situation cause Thyme was really scary, now I can't even believe he's the same cute person he became, sometimes I swear I get too much hooked on the story that I forget it's just a series🤣🤣🤣, anybody but him for the role of the male lead in all versions now

Angel Sjöberg Even in acting thai version is better. The actress nailed her part. For actor i think lee minho was better, but since he had a serious aura than thai's lead character who had childish aura we can't really compare but still lee minho was better but overall thai version had better actors. Anyway, why don't we enjoy both version without comparing. And i wasn't comparing just praising their acting skills.

Lol Boys over flower is based on Japanese shoujo manga/anime. Only the Korean version has the characters that lookalike the Original characters of the manga and acts like that too.

There are even tons of videos on yt on how the korean version is way different than the actual manga

Go Jun Pyo and Thyme are both adaptions of the original Tsukasa Domyjoji character. He is the ML we all hate to love. He is so vicious and lacks so much empathy in the earlier part of the story...unable to really understand how to show his love for Makino (Jan Di, Shancai, Gorya) therefore he hurts her much in the process because he is unable to handle the emotions that comes with love...like jealousy, passion and possession. But ahhh how much he loves when he eventually does fall in love with her, so ironic that he never for one second could guess that she was fated to be his future wife when he first bulllied her.

I like the Thai version. Korean version is good. But In Thai version the director gave space and importance to each and every character who enlarged the friendship and gave weight to the F4. He handled female lead role decently. Bright is awesome his expression was next level.

I've watched the Korean version but I'm extremely gutted for F4 Thailand. Bright and Win were the very prime reasons I started watching f4 Thailand but the other 3, Dew, Tu and Nani are doing extremely well n it's their first time on screen. Thailand cast really well, good looking young faces who are all good actors too. I hope this version gets love like the other one's have got. Not only the beautiful cast but another thing I'm liking more in this version is to the point scenes without excessive fillers. They keep everything short n to the point in the Thailand series, which is an extremely good feat.

So good someone said it . Among all the comments spitting facts about how F4 is the absolute best version (which is so true) this comment says the most important fact of all . I too noticed it the first time Thyme was introduced and observed him throughout the drama. He played Tsukasa , the og himself , which none of the ml of any bof did . Every version tried to ofc but Thyme was not notch . It was amazing, and since I read the Magna and saw the anime years earlier, it's was pretty nostalgic too. I feel like the og character of Doumyoji got lost in translation (remakes in this case) somewhere over the years . I like how Thyme was so freaking scary at times but he too had this shy and absolutely adorable side to him , so much so ... He behaved just like a child and was so goddamn dumb at times . Oh and the hilarious nature of his to misspell and mispronounce many words ,that was so Tsukasa 👀. Doumyoji was an absurd combo of these two sides and I personally feel none of the versions could capture that . Sure they tried but they left off something in each of them , in some of them his funny and dumb scale was higher that his scary and childish scale and in some of them his childish scale was higher than the rest . And the fact , that the Thai ver. managed to balance all the sides of His character is hella awesome. Felt just like Tsukasa Doumyoji 👀✨

I appriciate all the versions. Even though all the version's have thieir own plus and minus personally for me,korean one is still special. It's been 12 years, but still 0:22 this scene never failed to give me some kinda goosebumps. Lee min ho's rich bad boy charisma is everything. Naturally,He has that prince aura. He didn't get that much population all over the world for nothing. Still he has that fan following.Those days even without much technology he is so popular all over the world. Many countries get to know kdrama because of him. I still remember those days in my country, shops are full of the cds, photocards and posters of him. Every day topic of the school is this drama.. The fan war of team gu jun pyo, team ji hoo, the second couple fan following,osts... No Instagram,No hastag but thosdays the power boys over flowers hold is something...🔥 idk how to describe.. I think only early kdrama fans can relate with me...❤ F4 thailand also good. Cinematography, and natural and less toxic story line is better than korean version. Since the original story is 1992 They improvised the story line so much. Acting, Ost also good. Specailly I amazed by kavin's acting.. They have done very good job tooo....👏❤

In love with F4 Thailand.. The cast is top notch!! F4 are super hot and handsome.. Gorya is so pretty and cute. Most importantly they showed why Thyme is the way he is and they really toned down the bullying. I was a crazy fan of Korean BOF back in 2009 😅 Fell in love with Lee Min Ho and Kim Bum right away... Never thought I'd see another version of HYD that could surpass the Korean version. Now in 2022 I can safely say F4 Thailand is the best version out of all and I'm crazy over Bright Vachirawit and Win Metawin 😅

I feel like the bullying is worse actually, but they made it realistic, didn't romanticize it and really did such a great job making you feel the main character's struggles, fears and insecurities. Also you're right, the cast is amazing, they are so similar to the characters in the manga, it's crazy.
