Me I'm an old F-105 guy but man, those F-4s..so damn nice...watched one flame out on takeoff.Kadena AB probably around l966..pilot got out altitude around 400 ft...bird went down in the water.

Ha Ute testing out the shock struts well done !! Nice save its all good as Lou the F4 pilot in my vids says anytime you land on 3 wheels it's a good day, and if you have same number of takeoffs and landings it's a good day ! Gorgeous day btw

@@JohnVHRC She came down normally but was hit with a huge and sudden wind gust. I added throttle and she made it down. A go-around wasn’t an option as I was on a too small (and old HRB 3300) It was an ill-advised impromptu flight on a leftover battery from the day before.
