I think the genius of this antenna is that the components it's made of are highly flexible to begin with. Flex instead of break. This doesn't look like an issue at all. I'd be more concerned with stress on the rotator.

Hello dear Oliver, yes you are right, they must correct this error, but they told me there are no problems in their life with that manufacturer. but someone told me to use the hardened foam to block the spreader in the central part.i will try this solution, when i down the antenna, perhaps this winter.here 140km/h of wind without problems.regards.johann

Buffff. I would buy this antenna but i live in an area with strong wind storms in autumn 100-150kmh and once I saw the video I think not survive ... Indeed if the central mast does not move and the antenna is close to 1 meter displacement, I think unacceptable. MUST be corrected.

Hello. Have You solve the problem with space between spreader and Al-tube? Is spider still in use and alive? 73 de E74D

F4FEP Ok, I am glad that beam is still active. Yes, I saw the suggestion that one of our amateur wrote on other of Your video. I think simple foam would be just fine for that space. Its few euros and very strong. No way You can brake it. Like this one in the photo. www.google.ba/imgres?imgurl=www.ytong.ba/ba/img/uzg_42_b.jpg&imgrefurl=www.ytong.ba/ba/content/pregradni_zid_2183.php&h=373&w=435&tbnid=WtqXa9nbixiecM:&zoom=1&docid=2O_Uz1N6n3fBLM&ei=miEmVbjYGIKvsAG77ICoCQ&tbm=isch&ved=0CCcQMygNMA0&biw=1280&bih=869
