Nigel McGuinness is going to make a big entrance to the ring. He’s gonna stand there in full wrestling gear with the ref by his side. Nigel’s gonna cut a scathing promo on Danielson, calling him fragile, brittle, crybaby, etc. Nigel then claims he’ll “be the bigger man” and humbly accept a count out victory to end his feud with Bryan who’s “too scared to fight”. Nigel will then demand the referee to start the count. As the ref starts counting… the Final Countdown starts playing. Bryan Danielson makes a big entrance to a huge crowd pop.

AEW loves doing things on Twitter/Facebook instead of announcing it on tv. Same mistake WWE made in the early 2010s, assuming everyone is on social media 24/7. I still remember the Bryan/Vinny show where Paul Fontaine had no idea what was going on because he was offline for a couple days. TLDR: The rule should be if it didnt happen ON THE TV SHOW it isn't canon.

The TV deal should inspire AEW to do anything they have to to try to sell out Arthur Ashe Stadium. Show Warner Brothers Discovery that they made the right choice. How can you not have the AEW World Title defended? I don't care about the plastic bag storyline. Danielson should defend against McGuiness, Moxley and Allen in a four way. Give people a reason to buy tickets and watch on TV. Load that show up. It's a expensive building to rent. I hope they know what they're doing. I hope Grand Slam will be successful.

They just threw in that dumbass *if cleared to wrestle* note last night because they realized it made no sense booking him after saying he’s too hurt to defend his title. Classic AEW move. Also I know the match will be great but they did not have to make Ricochet vs Ospreay this soon. Ospreay said go get some wins and Ricochet has two matches and is now fighting Ospreay on tv within a month. They got the tv deal, there’s no need to rush this at all. They should have built this up for a while and made it a huge main event but Tony can’t help himself and needs the ratings asap
