WarGames 2021: New Day vs Hurt Business vs Bloodline, they still manage to pin Big E and Bobby takes out his own team to get heel heat

You really see the difference between WWE and AEW right now. WWE spent years weaving this story, so the pay off was universally praised. While the build to Full Gear feels like Tony Khan is Spider-Man holding the webs to stop a train derailment. SAD.

I have to honestly say it’s like people have selective amnesia. People seem to forget so quickly that when Roman reigns first came back with the head of the table gimmick, everyone was complaining about how it had no direction and that he was defending his title against jobbers like cesaro. And padding his wins because they had no one believable enough to face Roman who could actually take the title. People were complaining that WWE needs to make more stars. They were hoping WWE would put Matt riddle in the position to be WWE champion. Now all of a sudden it was a master piece?

​@shataluproductions when he first came back but then they added paul , which revived then it was brock fued. Then Sammy, then cody. They all came in when it started to get really dry and stale. Nobody forgot but wwe found put fresh air in when it died.

@@kidrevos557 Paul heyman was there from the beginning. The feud with Brock was also talked about a lot where people were complaining about that they were tired of Roman vs Brock again for the 5th or 6th time. Sammy was funny but did not add much of a story until wrestlemainia season when they randomly started questioning Sammy for no reason. Remember how Roman was supposed to have some kind of celebration with other members of the anoa’i family so when that fell through they came up with this random Sammy trial out the blue. Jey was the only one questioning Sammy. How they come out the blue with this trial and footage of questionable behavior? That was not planned it was a pivot. Then the Cody story? Cody was on another show and did not interact with the bloodline until both wrestlemaina seasons. The rest of the time Cody was in random matches just like he is now with his title run.

13:30 New Title...too many titles? YES! I know its a hot take but I genuinely believe WWE could abolish ALL tag divisions and the entire product would be better for it. I understand the decades of history associated with them but I also know for a fact that Vince hasn't cared about the tag division for ages and that HHH has shown NO interest in the tag division for his first two years. No tag team gets character growth. No tag team gets serious mic time. No tag teams are built around stories that are compelling. They are just matches. You know what the best tag has been during HHH's run? WM40's night 1 main event. Why? Story, characters, build. The tag division doesn't need to exist. Tag matches still has a place and now they simply mean more. Ask just about any modern wrestling fan if they prefer a traditional tag match or a three way or a tornado rules tag match? Almost guaranteed the least popular of all those options are tag matches. They are formulaic and tired and we've seen them too often. So what does this have to do with midcard womens titles? Time. You ditch the useless belts...you have time to focus on the womens division which means the midcard and the uppercard. I think a womens midcard belt is a long overdue fantastic idea. I just don't have faith that HHH will balance all of this properly. He's already proven he can't handle the existing belts he does book. How does adding another build confidence? Glass half full the 3rd hour of smackdown means HHH can build this midcard out AND one of the three tag divisions. These problems with the belts and the single title on the Raw's womens division were still present during a 3 hour Raw all year. Liv vs Rhea does not make an entire division. No one is hyped about the rest of it.
