I bought a set of wobble extensions for the truck. It came with 4 different lengths, 4 inch, 6 inch, 10 inch and I can't remember how long the last one is. I almost always can get away with using the 4 inch. Another great informative video, thank you!

Nice job! Liked that you were able to winch it onto the blocks to get the height clearance. You definitely need some swivel sockets. They work great with the impact. I actually need yo buy a set for myself. I use the matco set we have in the heavy when I have to move u-haul box trucks. Great informative video. 👏👏💪💪💪

Yeah, we have the Matco set too, but the head of the wobble is too fat and hits the driveshaft on these smaller trucks a lot of times. Our 35 ton has some long one piece (socket and extension all forged forged together) snap-on sockets that work sometimes, but we don’t have those in the 25 ton.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We want you to go home safe. The less time you spend on the shoulder, the better off you are. Lift it, throw it in neutral and nurse it to the next exit where you can finish rigging it. No amount of money is worth being struck on that shoulder.

wish my wrecker had remote control valves. back and forth from the controls to the under reach to look takes way too much time. i have looked at remote air operated setups but not sold on any one yet.
