F700 GS - Removing and replacing the back wheel - the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of it.

Sometimes it helps having a visual along with the manual. I tried to keep 'the real' in the video. Too often videos cut out the trials and tribulations. In real life, there are snags. Thank you very much! You did a great job. Just bought a 2016 F700GS and it needs new tires. The BMW dealership was going to charge me $120 to change out each tire!

This video was inspirational especially knowing it was done by a woman, no offense at all - compliments only! Would you mind listing the tools you needed to complete this job. I own an F700gs 2013 and I'm trying to get a list of tools needed to remove my front and rear tire so I can get the tire changed without taking to a dealership and being taxed an arm and a leg

Thanks Joey. It's been awhile, but if I remember correctly, it was a 24mm socket for the axle, a breaker bar, a rubber mallet (to help tap the axle back in) and a torque wrench. I have a screwdriver that has interchangeable bits, so I'm not sure of the size of the bit used to remove the speed sensor. I have a set of open end wrenches and can't remember what size it was that fit the lock nut. Sorry about that. If I do another video, I'll remember to be more specific about all the tools I used. What I do is just give it a go. I set aside a lot of time for the project, just in case I need to go to the store and pick up a tool I don't have. It turns out, I had to go to the store during this tire change to pick up a couple of tools. Have fun doing it. That's what it's all about. Let me know how it goes.
