I’m glad to see the first loadout here because that was the one I was going to use but wasn’t sure how the ballistics and lasers were going to do together but luckily it seems to be a good combination. Also idk if it’s just my headphones or what but the sound of the game is way loader then your audio and some parts I can barely hear you

My landing pad experience has been terrible, specifically in the Corsair. Arccorp mining outpost, space station pads, orison pads. Get stuck in phantom ships. "Sometimes" I can boost out other times I explode😢 if I am caught in a ghost ship I can not always re-arm but it is better.

An interesting showcse, just got my f7a so can't wait to take it out, i will leave a little constructive feedback, you need to increase your mic volume a touch, you have a soft voice and it was getting drowned out by the engines and boost at times. Otherwise good stuff :)

agreed, Voice was too quiet. Got my F7A last night and trying to determine bets weapons to use. the Revenant or the Omninsky XII. I have heard both as best to use. Going to test them both for myself and see

@@JP_813 you don't get a huge amount of shots with all cannons but you don't need it if you're accurate, it recharged quickly enough that I never found it to be a problem though

Dude you are a monster of skill I know I'm noob on DF, but I'm on star citizen 11 years, I like BH, but I'm more the type of one hit kill eclipse sneaking guy, but I really like the idea of a hornet full power I've tried but without success the ships just shred me it's a skill issue, but to see you in action is just crazy THX for this video man it was very entertaining I've watched the hole video!

Enjoyed the vid - I currently own a gladius but was thinking about upgrading to take on some harder missions to make some more cash. Hornet is looking like a solid choice, but any other recommendations? Flying solo or duo with a friend to learn combat for now.

@@herbv3449 I use a Taurus most of the time, holds enough to make good money and 4 m7a's rip through any ship it throws at you. Sold 17scu of quantanium from vhrt bounties for a nice little 350k bonus so if you get lucky with large amounts of quant or illegal cargo you can definitely make some good money

I upgraded, my F7C Mark II not that I had plans to use it to upgrade any ships but it doesn't seem to come up as an option to upgrade from now.

I can confirm, I noticed it the day I upgraded it. From what I heard, CIG had given advance notice of this although I myself never saw it so it is intentional. Support will not be able to return it to you if you decide to melt it either so you will lose the upgrade if you do.

Guns can be found at new Babbage, almost every gun in game can be found there. The turrets are there by default. =)

Astro tell me pls, isnt it better to go to all Quarrelers to have the same PIP, then only one PIP instead of 2 due to differents weapons speeds ? for me OMNISKY's have better DPS than the Quarrelers, less HP but i dont think its important ... not sure.

Why the quarreler? The specs are exactly the same as the omnisky IX which comes standard with the F7A. Or at leasr my F7A came with omnisky version.

Astro can you help up channel our concern both the top and nose turret hav about 100 hp, i feel like this has to be an oversight, because other turrets have 2k+ in hp . 😢 thats is my only complaint with the hornet, i know the atmosphere flight model fix will happen, but right now the turrets need attention.

How'd you get an F7A?

An in game event to earn a free F7A MKII upgrade. I received mine and applied it to my F7C MKII.

@clickbaker1 until the end of Invictus. There are 5 phases with a number of missions each. You have to complete them all in order to get the free upgrade. You don't need to have the F7C MK II in your hanger to get it. You'll still get the token. It's possible CIG will run this event again for those who couldn't do it.

This ship is one of the worst fighters in the game this patch, it's terrible in the atmosphere and the turret and chin mounts get destroyed so easily they are practically useless, especially against players who use ballistics. It needs a buff. The Buccs are so much better in this patch cuz at least it can control the engagement since it is so damn fast in scm. Great video though. On the flipside you can sell it for about 1000 USD currently LOL, Just my opinion and experience with it.

I haven't had any issues in pvp even against buccaneers . As for the atmosphere flight, that's not it's final form .

It is ehh for pvp yes. but you still have to respect its firepower. Plus in 1v1s it is kinda a monster, but any squad fights it does struggle. But that is only for people who know how to take advantage, the average player will lose to F7As all day

Fundamentally, MM is good. There is so much balance yet to be done though. Weapons need a hard look. Top SCM speed needs to come up a little so that there is room for true differentiation between archetypes (light medium heavy etc). Hull HP needs a top to bottom pass and we need armor as it’s been promised. Until all those things happen, real balance will not be possible. As far as “unnecessary time sink..” For you, perhaps. For a good combat pilot, it isn’t. In regard to the “pirates and greifer” - space is dangerous. Until we have more systems with no, medium and high security… it is what it is. Learn to turn and fight, bring support or get creative with your trade routes, plan ahead.

you can't load up ship parts with the c2 anymore because items are physical now. They're are just to big to even fit in the biggest 8Scu container you can buy. No more magical internal storage to move items like before 3.23
