Ending it at fast 5 wouldn't have made any sense. Think about it. If Tokyo drift showed Han dying then how does fast 4 and 5 make sense any sense with him being alive lol. Coz Tokyo drift came out before both part 4 and 5. Part 6 finally showed us how Han died....or how he was supposed to die....revealing that Tokyo drift is a sequel at the end of fast 6 and beginning of fast 7. The franchise ending with part 7 would've made more sense with Paul's tribute at the end
