Another one thats in the basket in the morning, James your passion is infectious, I could spend more time watching these videos than working in Ableton every single video I spot a whole host of tricks, the video is worth the cost of the pack alone, nice work

Just when I think I am starting to get Ableton, your examples and templates with all of the processing and embellishments are just 🤯. Awesome work as always. I look forward to picking this up later today. 👍

Thankyou for the free update sent via email! I would have paid for this again just for the Orbit track with the vocals and killer piano riff. You should release that track because I can’t get enough of it. I’ve actually bounced the track and added it to my playlist.

Such stylish club tracks. I wish I had that kind of imagination. They remind me of the best tracks from the earlier house music era, but in a new, contemporary form. Similarly, I was amazed by TRAX Mambo-how fresh and cool those sound as well.

Really love your products. The attention to detail and quality are 1st rate. One area that I do struggle in is mastering. I only master ITB and get really close to what I want. I am left feeling...will adding some hardware give me the 5% extra or is it.... I am not not using these plugins to their fullest? A mastering template with different examples ITB with a tutorial going through the options would be a great product for me personally. I hope there are some great releases 2025 from you guys. Looking forward to it.

Which DAW and mastering plugins do you own David ? - a lot of the key is limiting and knowing how to work with it - Hardware is tricky - As you know I love it, but I've now come to appreciate the contemporary sound is really based around plugins and no analog limiter can compete with the best in class in the plugin world - I've also seen people send things way too hot to hardware and wonder why it sounds choked ( 500 units a really big issue here as they have limted powerails ) ...Mostly now I'm all over hardware on the soudn design and channel stage and keep all groups and busses ITB - This also really helps for Recall and we may have to pull up 5 projects in a week here With this in mind I will alwasy say that mastering starts at the sound choice stage - get this right and you often need to do very very little on the backend Zap me an email at info@f9-audio.com - happy to have a look at what you're doing over email

Have to say James - this was the ONLY critisism I had of F9 products; the folder system. There's a tonne of sample gold in every pack, but everything needed a lot of menu diving. I personally always wanted the libraries to be a sample library first, and then with the incredible bonus of loading stems, templates, instuments etc afterwards. I do understand that your opening ethos was for it to be the other way round ie a template production library first, but like I say for me if it was a sample library first, with loops, one shots, multisampled instruments upfront that you can easily pull in idea starters,mix and match.. and the the ability to dig deeper when needs be, and also as an incredible learning tool to pick apart productions. For example when I open F9 future Classics I have to navigate each folder that has several layers deep to each one;samples, imported, processed, recorded, project folder, stems only, drum hits, rex files, extras, add on apple loops etc etc. When all I wanted was to grab one loop and get going ! I'm sure you get it.. Anyway, yeah the folder system from before was frustrating for me, but can't wait to get stuck into this more logical aproach - would love to see older packs updated to this new system, I think I'd get a hell of a lot more value from them, and will end up owning every single pack you've ever done (although I have most !) It's very very generous to offer the update free for original owners, very much appreciated, and also the addition of MPC as a format in there is just wonderful as I bounce between MPC and ableton and love to record ideas back and forth between the two, and then throw the whole lot into cubase for mixing . What an incredible start to 2025 ! Honestly I would pay for this upgrade for the other packs to be more logical and accesible. I'm smack in the middle of upgrading my whole system across from PC to Mac, so won't get to test drive the new system for a wee while, but will report back when I do. Thanks a million for all you do, making music is my life, and this stuff you make is truly gold at heart ! Best of luck with 2025, Kevin

Thanks so mucgh for taking the time to comment in such detail - As you can see we've actually addressed this competely in the latest packs - Supplying top levels folders of all elements just as you describe and this is 100% thanks to our comminuty members such as yourself - We can only improve with feedback like this and we'll do all we can to improve - Have a great start to your productions this year my friend !

Great stuff, slightly random but would love a tutorial on how you create the midi loops from audio. I know you have mentioned using melodyne etc. Its a frustrating process!

That envelope thing triggering the gain of the kicks-Dan Worrall showed a similar technique using the Saturn 2 plugin. It works nicely as well, but it needs to be set up carefully.

Amazing product again! 😍 I feel a bit overused the "MG_Loons" (bird?) sound.
@F9Audio12 күн бұрын
Of course the great thing is - It’s in a DAW project - You can mute anything you wish - or do something interesting with it - Pitch the patch 2 octaves down in the sampler and you get a 12 bit demented whale sound .. this is why we leave you guys with so much more control than other sample packs
@Purgatorium812 күн бұрын
Of course, I know that the package is completely customizable, there was only one note for this project 😉

Ha. My friend Steve Simmons made the track "House Nation" and it was on House Mania Records, not Trax. I was confused and clicked on this thinking it was going to be a reconstruction video.
