F998 Sound Card to Android device thru USB C port

Thank you so much, Very clear instructions for a beginner such as myself. I got it all hooked up using everything you mentioned in this video, except mine was a laptop for audio. I recorded live on TikTok. Only thing is that you have to make sure that your phone is fully charged before going live. There is no way to charge and stream with this set up.

Thank you. There are other set up with different adapters to use so you can charge while in use. Synido live dock is one option or Using a usb c otg with usb c port p for charging.

for all those who have problems and say that the sound is not heard in the phone, raise the record potentiometer. I did the same thing and I didn't know the reason until I took the sound card and discovered that the record potentiometer must be turned up.

I have 2 questions. 1) If using "Open Camera" app and connect the f998 via usb c, when open backing track from the same phone that record video, does the music from phone record to the camera app? Sure. It’s Fifine K668. Here is the amazon link where I got mine. It could be discontinued coz I check its been not available for a while in both amazon and Fifine site. The K668 is same but usb which I don’t know how to connect yet to a sound card. amzn.to/3KiAwux

First make sure everything are plugged in properly. Check if the RECORD volume is on high. If yes, but still no audio on your recording/ streaming, most likely it’s the phone adapter issue as some adapters like the ones I bought from other store you can only hear all effects but will not work for Recording/Streaming. I bought my lightning and usb c adapter from the Apple Store and that’s what I’m using for my videos. If you can’t buy from Apple Store try adapter which supports calling coz someone commented before that’s the other option. I have not tested it so I can’t guarantee.

You should be able to use a wired headset with built in mic on this. If that’s what you meant. Yes you can connect a BT speaker but you will need a BT wireless transmitter.

Does this sound card have battery as I see that you didn't use the charging port. Also I suppose the background music can be wired instead of bluetooth? Yes it has a rechargeable built in battery. I don’t really notice the audio quality difference between music connected via BT or wired.

I dont have a microphone yet but i just want to be able to hear the sound effects out loud with out earphones or headphones, so how can i have audio output external to just be able to use the sound effects?

You should be able to use an earphone with built in mic as your mic and connect it to the headset port. You may connect an external speaker thru the Earphone port. Connecting a BT speaker, you will need a BT wireless transmitter. I have a delay issue on it.

Bluetooth is as input which means for you to connect music from your device wireless. Now if you want to connect a BT speaker you will need a wireless BT transmitter. Of all the test I made on this, there is always an audio delay in connecting a BT speaker.

It’s hard to tell you that coz sometimes plugging to a power source could cause noise or the type of cables. My favorites so far are Maonocaster E2 and Synido live 100.

There are lots of factor from having noisy audio output. It could be one of your cable is grounded, it could be the mic too, or sometimes charging both phone and soundcard while recording or streaming.

It is due to Type c to 3.5 mm connector. Always use samsung official type c to 3.5 mm for samsung devices

Only if your usb mic has a headphone port. Without it, I don't know how to connect it. Through the headphone port you can connect a 3.5mm TRS from there to mic port of F998. The usb port of the mic, is connected to a power source like power bank or laptop.

For most of these sound cards, bm 800 condenser mic works. However for podcast, in my opinion dynamic mic is good as it’s not as sensitive as condenser, dynamic mic like fifine k688.

If it’s to much noise than you hear on this video coz on the testing part, I was playing audio from F998, then it’s could be defective. You can first making sure all cables are plugged in properly. Try switching cables or even try using a different TRRS.
