FAA Flags Over 120 Boeing 757-200s For Fuselage Cracking Concerns

The FAA issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for some Boeing 757-200 examples recently. The directive, prompted by structural integrity concerns, is targeted at aircraft that have been quote “modified by particular supplemental type certificates.”

I wish I could still fly on it. I've flown on the Boeing 757-200 the most, 13 times in total (A321 is second with 7 flights). Those flights were operated by 🇫🇮 Finnair, 🇬🇧 Airtours International Airways and 🇪🇦 Spanair, so my last B752 flights was back in 2011 between Helsinki-Vantaa and Fuerteventura. Although I prefer Airbus, it's the most beautiful aircraft... in the world. 😊

@@delta_cosmic it isn’t, These aircrafts are already 20 years old besides Boeing discontinued producing the aircraft 20 years ago, Its just the Older the plane the more maintenance airlines have to perform.

The issue is not how boeing built the plane, it was out of production 21 years ago. The real concern is how boeing will handle this. Im more then positive, boeing will only make it worse.
