I never knew this whole story from the person involved. I'm glad I listened to this. I never had bad feelings for them even after I knew the real story. Fab is a very intelligent man and I respect him for telling the story and letting the truth be known. Those guys went through alot that most people couldn't handle and Rob couldn't handle. I respect Fab to the utmost for this interview and I wish nothing but the best for him moving forward. Blessings bro!!

Excellent interview, thank you. Milli Vanilli were truly good guys who were savagely exploited by Frank Farian, it most likely cost Rob his life. It's good to see Fabrice Morvan doing so well, I wish him love, success and happiness. I never had any bad feelings about it, I don't know anyone who really cared that much about it but media blew it out of proportion and shamed them so badly, very sad.

I remember that era and that Milli Vanilli was actually quite popular for how they LOOKED in addition to how they sounded. You can't fake that! There are ways to work around the audio aspect of performance (especially live). Many artists don't sound as good live as they do in the studio. What happened to them was an example of what happens to vulnerable individuals at the mercy of those who don't have their best interest at heart.

This is the one and only video I’ve ever watched full length. I’ve always loved Rob & Fab as Milli Vanilli and even when the truth came out, I didn’t care. I felt really bad for them though because people treated them so horribly. I especially lost it when Rob committed suicide. My prayer was that they’d let them both record the songs in their own voices so they’d have even more success worldwide. But………anyway, good to see Fab doing so well and I look forward to his future projects ❤

I was a Soldier in Germany and I was working with Billy Allen and Robert Smith on Cameo's album in 1989 at the studio in Stuttgart where the real group that sang Girl You Know It's True, recorded. I felt sorry for Rob and Fab, I never said anything because of how I felt about the people that were doing them so wrong, and because not only was I a Soldier in Germany, I had been raised there because my father was in the Air Force. I guess I felt like they were my brothers because of that and I wanted to protect them.

1:15 important note: France is multicultural because they were very active in the enslavement of Africans and colonization of many countries, whos inhabitants became French-speaking and, some of which, return to France. Germany; well, they are land-locked were not AS active as France in slavery and colonization. As a result, their population isn't as multicultural from a cross-continental & integrated level. They do have a divers population, but primarily from foreign workers who don't integrate as "naturally" as the non-Franco French.
@josweetlove1537
@josweetlove1537 Жыл бұрын
@currentrapcurrents Germany also played their part in colonization in South West Africa and Namibia. They killed many of the Herero native people. France was the colonial master for many African nations and Haiti, Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Caribbean. These nations paid a heavy price to France. Fab's parents came from Guadeloupe.

Bon soir Fabrice. After the scandal, why did you y Robert not have your own TV show interviewing musicians who got screwed over in the music world y then let them show their talent live on your show? I'm now reading that some people won't let their morals allow them to work with shady producers or managers. Your getting older y it's something, I think, worthwhile to consider. Do you still have ties with Arsenal Hall? Perhaps he'll help you open doors. How does this sound? " The Fabrice Morvan show"? Your not getting younger either. Have a big huge photo blown up of you y Rob as you interview behind you y even a milli vanilli mini museum y gift shop. He struggled a lot so have a heart, after all his face helped launch your careers. Right? 👍🇮🇱 Jewish advise usually y strongly pans out. My warmest regards from Massachusetts.

I wish Rob had been stronger..... I could tell in Fabrice's eyes in their pictures he never really bought into it fully. That's why his fall didn't kill him. Rob was completely banked in this whole thing. He thought that was it. A big lie! God never gives you more than you can handle. They bit a rotten apple and just needed to learn from it.
