Hi Supriya, thank you :) It depends on the brand, but in general they are OK. I have been using mine in the dishwasher, but philips actually stated that it is dishwasher safe. I have kept my washing machine and dishwasher next to each other as well. Dishwashers don't have much vibration. Top load washing mahcine will not have vibration but a front load may. These days you get some kind of stoppers like this amzn.to/3JIQXOU - if you are using front load to stop the washing machine from moving during spinning. I have not used it, but am planning to try

Hi Parashar - copper vessels get discolored.. mine has too. But since it is not on the edible side of the vessel - I put it in the dishwasher. Like aluminium- there is no harmful reaction to copper.

Great, eagerly waiting for the new video. On You Tube, there is no video on the usage of the 3rd tray (cutlery tray). I believe the Cutlery Tray can be used in many positions. Probably it can be removed also. You can make a separate video on this neglected but a very important part of dishwasher. LG, Beko (14 place), Bosch do not have a cutlery tray.

Hi Chatur, no, 12 place setting takes lower number of vessels than a 14 place setting. Sometimes a 14 place has an extra tray for cutlery.

Hi I wanted to know if we can directly use the utensils once the wash cycle ends... as far as I have observed, once the cycle is over, utensils inside the dishwasher is dry..but if I try to use it (like if I pour water directly into the glass to drink ) it shows a lil bit of froth. Hi Munni! You could have froth because of excess rinse aid or detergent. Try to reduce the setting of rinse aid or add little less detergent (if you are using detergent and not tablet). Also try to run a clean cycle with vinegar and/or a descaler. In general - most items used for dishwasher tablet/salt/rinse aid are food grade, so even if you consume - there is no science stating it will cause health issues.

Hi Vikram, yes, generally it does. However - I feel like sometimes it is delayed indicator. When I see vessels not being cleaned well (like a salty residue or white spots), I know it's a salt issue and refill it, before waiting for the indicator.

Hi Varun! Thanks, glad you found it useful 😌 Faber service is through franchise. So far They have been very responsive for both installation and any calls I have made. Within 2 days or so you will have a service person visit. I have not had any issues with my faber machine so far, so I am not able to confirm about their handling of specific issues. (Same with some friends who bought it too) My previous chimney handling was good.

Hi Saumya, I have been using a dishwasher since 1.5 years. I have placed it directly on ground. In one of your videos I saw that you have placed your dishwasher on a stand. When I enquired in the market I learnt that a dishwasher stand is different that the one meant for washing machine. While top load washing machine stand has lockable front the wheels, a dishwasher stand does not have wheels at all and you can't pull it ahead for cleaning purpose. I would like to know what kind of stand you are using for dishwasher. Hi Neeta, I'm using one with wheels and used the same one for my previous top load washing machine. Front load washing machines have a different stand - as it needs to absorb the vibration during spin cycles. So for dishwasher, I'm using this stand amzn.to/3BvXoTN - and from my front load washer-dryer, I'm using a simple one like this to absorb vibration amzn.to/3JifURu.For front load washing machines, it is not recommended to use one with wheels - something like this amzn.to/3Q49Oq6 would work.

Many viewers are keen to know about the alternatives for LG. I have been advocating about Faber and requesting them to visit your channel. You can think in terms of loading a new video for those who are in the process of returning LG and are looking for another brand. As I have studied extensively about various dishwashers, I can say that Faber appears to be closest to LG in terms of features. Faber is a huge brand and I suppose if they can give good after sales service, Faber dishwasher should prove to be a good buy. @@arunc4248 Faber is a 14 place Dishwasher, as compared to 12 place Bosch dishwasher. All the dishwashers of any brand consume same amount of salt, rinse aid, detergent and electricity. Bigger Dishwasher can accommodate more utensils. Faber has a third tray, in the form of Cutlery Tray, adding to more space and options. The Faber Dishwasher usage has been explained on this channel, extensively. There is another video on this channel, comparing 4 leading Dishwashers. You can watch it. Delay the process of purchase and enquire from the host of this channel, to know the finer points.

Thank you, Atul Kumar sir! Hi Arun, that’s right, Bosch is available in both 12 and 14, but I believe the 14 place setting has been out of stock for a while. Faber does take longer - but most modern dishwashers take longer for better cleaning and to conserve energy. There are shorter cycles you can use in Faber that will bring the time to Bosch equivalent timing of 90 min. Cleaning performance is equivalent for both - my family has the Bosch - so have seen that too. Cleaning performance mainly depends on the detergent/tablet that you use. Very nicely explained. I purchased a Faber dishwasher based on your video from Amazon. Unfortunately they delivered a defective product. The Faber installation person came after the delivery window closed. So the replacement has to be done by Faber. I have been following up with Faber since 2 weeks now- no resolution. Very inefficient customer handling and different people tell different things. I'm a senior citizen and this experience has been terrible. Can you help me out please?

A TDS of 1200 - 1800 would not be covered by the dishwasher softener. Faber supports a maximum of 9.8 mmol/l (which is an equivalent of 980 ppm in TDS). You may need an external softener. You can also reach out to Faber support to guide you.

Hi Prerna - you need a few pre-requisites - an inlet tap, a drain hole and 15A electrical connection. If you have these within the range where you are installing the dishwasher - they will not have an issue to install it.

@@NPPREMA USA has been using dishwasher for more than 100 years. Even in US, the utensils with tough milk and tea stains are either given a scrub or are washed in dishwasher twice. If such utensils are properly soaked then in intensive cycle, sometimes the utensils get properly cleaned.

Hi,, with the dishwasher in use for 1.5 years the tray is all rusted and been breaking away even though we used salts and best Finish soaps. Have you experienced the same. Also this is not covered by the company warranty and they are charging 7K to replace the tray as its not available online and with any other vendor and also 500 for installation (which anyway is not required). This has been the worst experience with Faber which we did not expect to not last more than 2 years.

Faber looks to be very capable dishwasher. How has been your long term experience with Faber dishwasher? How does Express mode works? I have read somewhere that it reduces normal washing time of a cycle. Does it reduce running time for every cycle, like Auto, Intensive, Eco, Glass, Normal, 90 Minutes? If it is so, what is the duration of the reduced cycles? How has been your experience with cleaning and drying of the utensils? Can we remove the uppermost cutlery tray? Can we fold any part/flap of the third cutlery tray?

Hi Atul Kumar sir - my experience has been great! I have not tried the express mode - will try and let you know. It is normally used for less dirty and smaller loads only. The rack is height adjustable and the cutlery rack can be folded on one side to make space for larger vessels in the middle rack. I have not done this too as most of my large vessels fit in the bottom rack. The only issue I have faced is with ladles used for rice - due to the starch probably does not go too well. Other than that - very happy with the cleaning. So far no issues with the machine too - touch wood 😁 I’ll make a demo showing the height and adjustable racks.

If some deal comes, I will also buy Faber. On Faber, there are hardly 3 or 4 videos on KZbin. None of them can match your videos. If you can upload few more videos about Faber, it should prove to be very useful for the prospective buyers. ------ Dishwasher still remains a mystery gadget for most of the households. Hi Prachi - what is the issue you face? The white powder could be due to incorrect salt settings. Are you using detergent or tablet? I use the tablet but still add salt and rinse aid. I don’t have any issues.

Hi Hemalatha, that is strange that they are saying that. My inlaws are also using it with tank on first floor. I don’t expect it to be an issue if your washing machine is working fine (unless your washing machine has low pressure operation mode)

Hi Hemalatha, I have seen the auto cycle give best results. Longer cycle means it gives enough time for the rinse cycles - to remove any caked food as well.

Hi Parashar, if you water quality is soft and you are using tablet, you don't necessarily need salt. In your manual - you will see a table with the water hardness level to salt setting - you can check that to determine the setting if you are using salt.

Hi Krishnansh, that's strange. Do you connect your washing machine also to the same pipe and are getting a similar error of low pressure? If not, one way to decipher if there really is a pressure issue is to check the same inlet with your washing machine. The E1 error occurs for 3 reasons - pipe closed / low pressure, drain pipe is blocked / flat on the ground or inlet pipe is dirty. If you have checked all these 3, then I recommend calling the service rep to check and fix.

Hi Atul sir, my experience has been awesome. I don’t find it lacking anything compared to Bosch models. Compared to LG - mainly missing the app capability and ability to add new cycles. But frankly most often I use only the Auto cycle. The auto cycle is 2.5 hrs, the eco mode is about 3.25 hours. There is a 90 min cycle also that is quite good. Short cycle is about 30 min. What I also like is it has a separate tray for spoons and ladles - so can get a bit more space in the main racks.

Hi Atul Sir, just one other point I want to highlight- the only issue I have faced so far is the salt indicator does not come on on time. Not really an issue as I’m using tablets - but it is really required to refill regularly otherwise leaves some white marks at times. So I have set a cadence for myself to do that on a periodic basis, once in 2 weeks.

Hi Atul Kumar sir - I have made a video on this topic which I will publish on Tuesday. In express mode - the 90 min cycle will reduce to 70 min . The express mode will not work on auto, rapid and pre wash. With all other modes it will reduce time taken by 20-25 minutes.

When the cycle is complete, open the door of dishwasher for 5 minutes. close the door again and open after 10-15 minutes to find utensils without any drop. High temperature cycles ensure better drying. as suggested by Saumya ji, adjusting Rinse Aid helps in drying.

Hi @Delcy Victor - I have found this happens due to hard water and the salt is insufficient. When I refill the salt segment - this stops occurring. Try it and let me know if it works 😊 Ideally- for a full load - you will need about 30gms of detergent. or a single tablet if you are using that.

That’s true. I tried it and that works for smaller plates for me. For larger plates, it obstructs the fan, so this approach works. Both are ok since there are fans on either side (of the bottom rack).

Hi Gyanesh, Faber service is through a franchise network. You may want to check on that in your area. The three tray gives a bit more flexibility and space - else the cutlery tray would occupy that space in the regular tray. Bosch is a good tried and tested option as well. You cannot go wrong with that 😊

Faber has very dependable after sales network. Even in pandemic, Faber repaired our kitchen chimney, only 3 days back. Register your complaint on Faber helpline. Once complaint number is generated, follow-up becomes easy and effective. I have been successful in returning my LG dishwasher after 15 months, with full refund. Similarly, I got 2 Voltas Beko dishwashers changed with a third one within 15 days. If follow-up is vigorous, you are sure to get results.
