Actually, the Sun, Moon, and stars in Minecraft are all flat textures on a skybox, set to render a set distance from the player's cammera. Also, the shape of our Earth is irrelivent to this discussion. ... P.S. the distance is 100m, which is weird, because the render disrance horison is farther than that, meaning the celetrial bodys phase through the overworld, which you can actually see in-game if you look closely.

I'm not really convinced there's an actual gravity in minecraft, diamonds could be a completly different type of Diamond than one we have in real life since there's no way to make actual functional diamond tools irl and there is no proof deepslate is just compressed cobble.. Also the sun and moon are not cubes, they are flat squares we could just be observing them from the bottom. Another proof for the non existance of gravity in minecraft is the end, if the world was a sphere or even a cube because its the most stable shape then why would end islands not have that shape ?

​@@isshollandI mean, almost right. We don't have diamond tools because they would shatter immediately upon striking anything. They're pretty much only useful in tools if they are on the edge, because they are highly durable as shards. The fact "diamond" tools and armor in Minecraft have the highest durability while being one rigid chunk of gemstone proves it can't be the same diamond we know irl.

​@@issholland Things falling doesn't necessarily mean gravity is the cause, the fact it is what hapens to us doesn't mean it's the only explanation for minecraft. Since gravity breaks irl flat earther's theories pretty sure they just explained gravity as the plane moving upward and it feeling like things move downward where in reality they just want to be kept in place. Irl it definitely doesn't hold up, but in Minecraft it could easily explain how things fall. I can't really thing of any decisive evidence for it right now but it means explanations other than gravity are possible. End islands are not spherical they have various shapes reminiscing irl islands in a ocean but without any of the water or solid ground, Since the existence gravity would affect every side of the end every singe island would HAVE to be a regular shape, which clearly it's not. Yeah I've heard of diamond tipped drills irl but minecraft diamond tools are made of pure diamond. Same with armour, an argument could be made with a diamond upgrade for iron but even so the diamond block should break easily but it doesn't. And finally a cube ONLY looks like a square if looked at PERFETCLY straight on any other angle even if small it looks like a hexagon even if a bit deformed, It doesn't disprove it right away since our moon rotates perfectly so we always see the same side but the problem here is planetary rotations. A cube gravity would make it so the sun and moon apparently spin faster above you and slower when further away which isn't the case, a circular gravity would work to explain that but it couldn't work with the shape of the sun and moon. Therefore both cubic and spherical planets contradict themselves. Another problem is the sun and moon being oposite to each other. When a sunset happens they are both visible at our level of view not 30M+ meters below us like a cube earth would suggest. Oh and pressure is caused by gravity. (I can't belive I was looking at ACTUAL FLAT EARTH web pages and documents for some information. I feel like I lost brain cells by just reading such stupid arguments for explaining the world but props to them, it kinda works for minecraft)

My theory was that it's actually a 4d paper folding in on itself infinitely, such that the sun and moon could circle around an infinite flat world and also such that since we are 3d, the invisible 4d allows to still see the sun and moon through the folds 🤔

The world limit always bothered me. You can clearly see that there is more land beyond, but for some reason there is an arbitrary barrier that you can't cross no matter what you do. It's like teasing a child with a toy that they can't get. It's annoying 😂 I'm not sure what this entails coding-wise or how hard it would be to implement in practice, but it would be cool to have the world just loop around at the limit: just allow me to keep walking and as soon as I cross the limit, start loading the chunks on the opposite side of the map

I love it when how people come up with so many different interpretations on what shape the Minecraft world could have. I myself am not convinced it’s flat, my approach tries to transform the Minecraft world into a sphere and calculate its hypothetical Radius, but in contrast to other spherical approximations of the Minecraft, it assumes the world is much bigger than the world border. The Idea behind it, is that, how big would the sphere need to be, so that you don’t realize you’re on a sphere. For that I used the function of a half circle f(x)=sqrt(r^2-x^2) and defined at Radius r from the center. Now to see a difference in height of h you need to travel further than the maximum distance d:=f(x-h). I calculated the maximum distance you can theoretically travel in Minecraft from edge to edge as d=qrt(2*29999999^2)= 42426405m and then assumed that the height difference on this route of a single block is less than h=0.00001m , which is the smallest digit you can measure on F3 in Minecraft(1.19). If you than solve for r you get r≈d^2/(2h) which results in 90 Exameter or 90*10^18 Meters. These are 9513 lightyears, no single celestial body we know of, is even close to how ridiculously large this is. If you ignore that this planet would probably collapse in on to itself, the speed at equator with a day of 20 minutes, would have to be 1.6 Billon times the speed of light, which is also impossible under our laws of physics. I like this approach, because it does not mess with the topology of Minecraft at its edges, like many other Sphere transformations, that “glue” the Surface to a sphere with the same surface area, therefore distorting it. Known Issue with my approach however: I assumed Minecraft’s coordinate system as cartesian with only right angels, if you’d use a radial coordinate system, where the height (y coordinate) as always in relation to the center of the planet, you could probably get a smaller radius, but it still needs to be many times the surface Area of 29999999^2 m^2 to not distort the shape of the world too much.

Bedrock is flat Because it does go forever, the world just goes past the simple term of corrupted with the no clip place, only horses and spiders really survive, the strip lands that are stripped and 100% no-clip-able and you can only walk in the x or z direction mattering on where you are and the grid lands, gotta see it for yourself, only way to move is with corus fruit(the grid lands, my favourite place)

Look Minecraft’s gravity is different from reality, in reality gravity pulls things together, but in Minecraft it just pulls sand and players down also if you go really really really really really really really really high the Minecraft world looks flat is not completely flat because of mountains but mostly is, even though there’s a mod named distance horizons it isn’t a horizon the render distance may make it look like a horizon it’s a illusion because the render distance is shaped like a circle also Minecraft isn’t a cube if you go to the world border the land over the world border has to be sideways to be a cube but it isn’t so Minecraft is flat. 60 million by 60 million? & yet there are different seeds & generation? Seeds can be up to 34 digits long & just over 18 quintillion seeds exist not counting custom flats. So since the number of seeds is divisible by multiples 2 & there are 3 dimensions & cubes have six sides. How big is Minecraft assuming you never make it to the edges & corners? Assuming that all 18 quintillion seeds make up most of the six faces. Also the Neither & End didn't receive the 384 block height limit update.

I'm not really sure I want to calculate a 60^2 million blocks area times 18 quintillion times just for the nether area alone. And the end area, it's not rendered all consistent, it has rings in the limits of the game. And the missing rings of end chunks issue could be fixed with mods, maybe. But let's just say the height difference of the end & over world & neither can be figured out. But it's unlikely to be easy even for ant venom to calculate the anomaly lands of the cube that big. Because the far lands have the same gravity as the normal Minecraft, but let's say Minecraft is a near infinite checkerboard. Assuming the library of Minecraft contain those infinite number of maps from all seeds.

Idk set theory, but the math s beyond my education level. But expanded storage with bundle combinations inside of shulker boxes inside a storage that has 257 slots would be impressive. But I bet the Terraria craft mod has impressive stack sizes, but idk if it reflects the updated version of that game in the mod. Just thinking of stacks of 99 that use to be possible in what? Alpha or Beta from 2009? It was practically just 'Cave Game' back then before settling on 64 stack size.🤔 45, 54 slots works good in chests. 77 slots is just in a 7 by 11 grid and doesn't match the triple chest & adding a hopper to gold chest would just over shot a triple by 1 slot. 98 slots of diamond chest would need 2 hoppers to match a set of double or iron chests. Elerald chest is 171 slots why? Idk. Netherite Chest is 257 slots and I guess would fit all items in the game and creative inventory. + Illegal block variants maybe.🤔❓
