Did you know that a game that is hopefully coming out soon is called high tail and I think when that game comes out probably within a month of the games launch people might call it a Minecraft clone to some degree and that’s what happens from time to time, but that’s just peoples opinions I do know that is what happens sometimes when they are games similar to Minecraft I know it’s going to be similar to Minecraft when high tail lunches because it’s going to be a blocky game but with some other elements in the game that are not like Minecraft I do know that the game will have its own servers and what not Also I do know that sometimes some games are criticized no matter what but everybody can be entitled to their own opinion, but I will enjoy hi tail and Minecraft together I think both games are going to be amazing side-by-side together

To be fair, I highly doubt the whole "these apps are more popular than real minecraft" part. Not only are downloads easy to spoof (the play store doesn't check to see if they've actually opened the app, just downloaded it) but reviews are easy to fake as well. I've seen apps with like hundreds of thousands of downloads that are only a couple months old and only have like 5 players online.

When I was younger I wasnt allowed to buy games, so I would scroll through the play store and look for the best Minecraft clone and I found one that would be removed from the play store and re-uploaded multiple times with different names. You are entirely mistaken about the review system. In 2021, the Play Store supported 32 bits, and the old version of MCPE only had 32 bits. Yes, cracked versions are posted there, but mostly it's about minecraft and minecraft modding(in separate thread but still in one theme on forum). About cracked versions: well, piracy is really high in Russia, can't deny that. But also I might say that these versions are downloaded by children that can't buy official minecraft from play store

This has actually been going on for a really long while now, I still remember from way back before the quarantine I was playing with my cousin when he showed be this minecraft-like game that basically his entire school plays and I was shocked when I noticed that it wasn't just your average minecraft ripoff, it was literally just minecraft but with a really convincing texture pack added on to hide the fact that its minecraft like the texture pack was so convincing that I didnt even realize it was minecraft until he let me play it myself. I think this was the time when these games only recently started appearing with how well disguised everything looked but overtime they just started to get really sloppy with how they hide it since I guess they realized that mojang doesn't really give a damn

It's not sad, it's wonderful. There are millions, maybe billions, of children that want to play Minecraft but whose parents don't know how, can't or don't want to buy them the game. I'll never forget spending a huge chunk of my childhood longing to play the official Minecraft. If there's anyone scummy in this whole scene, it's Microsoft. Despite visibly transforming Minecraft to gather as much of a younger audience as possible ( as if Minecraft wasn't dominant in the field for years already ), they take every opportunity to milk the players of money through the cesspool that is marketplace and unnecessary spin-offs of the game, as if the prices themselves for every single edition of the game weren't enough. If they weren't scummy, the very least they would have done was make Minecraft Bedrock on mobile ( Google Play Store ) for free and follow Crafting and Building's ad strategy shown in the video to make revenue out of it ( on top of marketplace and whatnot ). Another alternative would have been to publish older obsolete versions of MCPE for free and keep the current latest version premium. But no, they want to enjoy your wallet more than they want you to enjoy their game.

Back than in my old friend group this one guy would "buy"(he actually got his minecraft from pirating websites, but he would claim so) minecraft bedrock and help us transfer it over to our phones. I remember back in 2014-2017 there was this game called Craft Exploration Survival PE which is basically just like these stolen minecraft but with a different texture pack. You could even play servers with it. I remember the splash text saying ''it's a secret'' and ''don't tell anyone!'' because the photos that are in the play store are completely different. It dissapeared back in 2018 or so iirc but during its prime, I was around 6 and couldn't afford minecraft and my parents didn't know how to buy it so it let me enjoy minecraft without buying it. they should play at minetest, it's an open source game like minecraft, with a ton of mods, playable on android, windows and linux based os. It's probably one of the best experience you could have for free without any ads on android. But yes, you won't be able to play on minecraft server, in the same time, you can host your own server really easily and there's already a decent list of servers. Oh and, if you feel like something is missing in term of content, just browse the content menu, you should be able to add almost anything you may want

so, i played craftsman back when it first came out. They used to have ads on youtube where it was just a video stolen from RageElixir and a download link to the game, from what i remember they were all minecraft pe 0.4.0 but re-textured, and they later upgraded to minecraft 0.14.0, also just retextured. There were many youtube videos with servers you could play on craftsman back when it was on 0.14.0 (because that version of mcpe didnt need to be logged in to play online). and later it upgraded to later versions, these games still are very popular in my country. And craftsman was always on almost the latest version, they were the OG pirated minecraft, even being available on iOS at some point (nowadays you cant find free minecraft on ios without jailbreaking) and also craftsman doesnt let you play offline for long, you get a limited offline time depending on how many ads you watch, but once that runs out they dont let you play for longer.

Crazy to to see craftsman here. Craftsman and Block Man Go were the closest thing i had to minecraft before when we were quite suffering. We didn't have much money to waste on games so I would usually play craftsman (+blockman go) and continued for years until life got better. Still, until now, I'm thankful I got to experience these games. Even if they may look terrible, they mightve been even worse before, but I'm really happy to see these games are still alive. (Block man go has turned into a cash grabbing game which is quite disappointing, the old blue and gold cubes are replaced with new currency and everything just keeps changing. Craftsman has changed alot and became more minecraft-like, but I really love that it still has most it's textures and I kinda miss the old ui.)

Crafting and Building got updated recently where you can watch a add to get stolen marketplace worlds and I was able to play og-network on it as well as the hive but for ppl who can't afford mc like me I'm very glad these are available

As a teenager living in a country where Minecraft is a lot more expensive, I highly rely on these games, mainly the game "Mike Craft" I don't get ads on it, somehow, and it's updated to 1.20 with experimental features. I dont support them but they help people like me who couldn't afford real Minecraft cuz life is hard. Its literally ₱300 i cant. 🙁

I didn't know these were still a thing. I remember me and my friends using these back around 2015 on our phones, but we later switched to downloading off Aptoide until mobile version 1.12 (which I believe was the Better Together update) that gave mobile Minecraft all the things from we were missing (like armor stands) and essentially gave us Bedrock. The thing is, it also included a sort of verification system so we could no longer download from there. But about a year before all this, so sometime in 2015, iirc, we started playing minecraft by scouring the Play Store, where the versions were disguised as a "guide for Minecraft PE", so I remember downloading around 50 or so guides until I found one that was actually Minecraft, and not just a guide. Also, they didnt use custom skins or anything, they were just Minecraft, simple as that.

This was common in 2017 aswell, i remember installing a stolen version, the only difference was the texture pack that was different, and seeing as i was poor back then i loved playing it, i convinced my cousins to join so we could play together, such good memories
