Wonderful video. Disregard the lazy people who just want instant gratification and gave up on figuring out how to use this, let alone even going into depth to how this software was even engineered. You’ve earned a subscriber in me.

I wouldnt call, wanting my parts to fit together, and not out of nowhere get deeper or higher for related parts...say in a dub song if i want a delayed track stacked, id rather it sound not super colored.. or when you play live youre just kinda shit out of luck.. for an edm or just a studio band then yes have fun with the sound design. though say with echo boy i can dial something in on my pedals or quad cortex to get damn near close if not pretty exact. i love how transparent this delay is but like for some people its just not practical that want organic stuff when theres echo boy or stock ableton plugins or even just routing my pedals to the interface. i loved it at first, and was just like this is option paralysis for absolutely no reason for any genres that i do.

Kinda goes back to what I told people way back in the day which is: you can create your delays, it's just a repeating sound that changes in volume, you don't need a delay device. Timeless 3 is like: you want your delay device? sorry, this is a fuckin sampler synthesizer!

Ha! This plugin really is everything. Kind of has an identity crisis 😂. But it’s really cool whatever it is…

Nice review. What do you think of it vs others such as Echoboy.
@LonelyRocker3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I don't have Echo Boy but I have a bunch of others. This delay is one of the most unique ones out there because of the compositional features and built in EQ. Many times I just want a simple reverb and I likely would grab something else. But this one just has the extra gears to shape something unique. And that's fun when you are in creation mode.

@@LonelyRocker Yep the visual feedback that all FilterFab plugins give you is unparalleled too. I might wait for a black friday sale to see if i can buy any for a decent price. Echoboy is amazing too, but can be a bit overwhelming with complexity of UI.

It's too techie for the average guitarist. I love it, but you have to remember most guitarists avoided the Fender Jaguar and MIDI for decades, because it was too complicated. For the average guitarist, if they can't plug and go and get the sound they want within 5 minutes, it goes on ebay. Great video, by the way.

Thanks. It is unconventional for guitar players but not so hard to figure out once you get your hands in it. But not for every player. That is true….

@@Exaltation-heliacal That's complete bollocks..!!! Why wouldn't you want to exercise control over your recording process as a guitarist I've gigged and recorded for 50 years, the Tech has got better but I bothered to learn it rather than trust my music to total fucking strangers

@@Exaltation-heliacal How many people have you played for? how long have you been playing legit shows, not pub shows for 10 people? I dont leave my bedroom besides going to work or to play a show...cause im recording all of the time. Just because we have ways to record at home now vs a studio, doesnt mean the people arent musicians...idk im confused with your ignorance.. i mean is tim henson a band folk? misha? plini? no theyre playing to thousands all of the time, but they def nerd out over plugins, and home recording
