I thought you were going for a Paul Thompson at the beginning 😂

I am a hip hop, boom bap, sampling type of producer. When it comes to delays....I usually just have a simple repeat on and that's it. I bought this because based on what I seen....I'd never need another delay plug in because this does way more than I'll ever need. I absolutely love it and don't use any other delay.

This is great. Best in-depth exploration of this plugin out there. Plus at 21:55 I imagine a thank you text from Dan. :)

They didn't lie when they said you get unique sounds out of this. Normally it's just a marketing sentence but damn this looks like the most versatile delay plugin so far

Hi Geoff. Which headphones are you using there?

HD 650s

@@ManchesterMusic Thanks. Are they your headphone of choice now? I remember watching an older video of yours where you recommended the 800s and something like the AT 50s as a cheaper option.

Noob question… you say you should insert the plug-in on a Bus… why is that? Cheers as always for your great content!
@jaydabliu3 жыл бұрын
Quickest reason I can think of is, if you have your reverb or delay on a bus you can send multiple channels to use the same reverb (or delay)...essentially like they'll all be eating from the same plate soo to speak (as opposed to having reverb and delay on every channel that needs it)... which makes it easier on your CPU as well. Then you can vary the amount you want each channel to use by just adjusting the send level knob.. I hope that makes sense?

ugh, those stretchy animations in that plugin drive me nuts. Show me the value when I twist a knob. Don't give me that swooshy smooth animation between values. Unnecessarily heavy on your machine, and far worse than just a clean view on the value.
