Ingredients:
100 grams confectionare’s sugar
225 grams mascarpone (make sure the mascarpone is out of the fridge for at least 15 minutes before it is used)
250 ml heavy cream (cold)
2 Tbsp. instant coffee
2 Tbsp. boiling water

This frosting looks delicious! And it answered my question about to why mine probably curdled. I didn't dissolve my instant espresso first, I just threw it in. ☺️ I don't understand why anyone would give this video a thumbs down...?

That's exactly what I did :'(. I also double the expresso power (because there is no such thing as too much expresso) and half the sugar.

Thanks for this. I am following a recipe and the comments said the frosting doesn’t work. Typed into KZbin ‘coffee frosting’ and landed here. Perfect 👌🏻

Hello there! This recipe looks great and would LOVE to try it! Can I add gelatin so frosting can keep it’s shape and last in room temperature for more than an hour?

+Ghosthony Bryan Hi, It will keep room temperature for about an hour. Because of the whipped cream it doesn’t last long ( I prefer to keep it in the fridge as long as I can)

I am having an exceptionally difficult time converting these to cups (don't have a scale) through internet, considering there is a difference for dry goods, solid and liquid dairy... anyone have success converting this recipe?

hello, I really recommend you buy a scale because there are many recipes that are in grams and pastry must be accurate, sometimes 10 grams less or more can make the difference between a good dessert or a disaster (It has happened to me many times 😢😅)

Fabiana Roberts thank you. I have been looking a little while, and I am wondering what kinds of scales are best. I am leaning towards a digital with .00 after decimal. Do you think for baking it matters to have the hundreds spot or do you think one without just .0 is ok too? (Considering price)

No really, but you can add 1/2 teaspoon at time. Until you get the desire consistency!
