It's ridiculous your tax dollars have to be wasted to go there and clean up these bathrooms on a daily basis from these people that are making a complete mess out of them Not only are they congregating and making a complete mess but they are scaring Tourists away nobody wants to go there and look at that place and spend money. Would you want to bring your kids to an area like that and visit buy some souvenirs hang out for dinner walk the beach ? Definitely not. Smarten up residents and ban together and get these drug addicts out immediately The sooner you do it the better your area will be it will invite tourists back and area will start prospering again. But not now all it's doing is scaring people away with the exception of the bums drug addicts homeless because they have problems that's why they are homeless because they can't keep their filthiness together and their mind off of doing drugs...

California passed a new law that goes into effect January 1 that allows police and first responders to involuntarily commit mentally unstable people and those chronically affected by substance abuse for a year. Problem is LA county voted to delay the implementation by two years. But that will be the Major key to solving a lot of this.

If I was a Homeless person I try find a spot to setup camp that wouldn't be a problem with the local or in the way of others I would try to find a nice private area in the bushes / woods where I be out of site. Then I maybe have a bicycle with pull behind cart and backpack . Try my best not hoard a bunch stuff try keep it to a minimum. That what I try to do. Definitely enjoy watching your videos. why are the police not allowed to force an individual to seek medical care if they are just lying on ground maybe something serious- but refusing to move? the police should be allowed to forcefully take them the medical center and seek a shelter if they are just going to lay down on the sidewalk. would we let a dog just lie there sick and dying? even if the human doesn't think they need medical, they need to be sent there anyway. that is the humane thing to do.

Alternative sleeping areas and social services should be available to the homeless in Santa Monica. Safe zones where homelesspeople can get a good safe night sleep. Intead many sleep during the day in public areas. Homelessness in America will continue to grow in large numbers, unless ?

yes- there needs to be established places in each city where the nomads can put up a tent. of course with rules and regs about hoard and trash and dispose of their needles properly. have showers and porta potties. and it needs to be enforced.. no more sleeping wherever they feel...if they refuse then off to a jail or mental institute.
