Гитарист, понимая, что весь аккомпанимент всего лишь одна его гитара, как мог украсил (разнообразил) инструментальную составляющую музыкального произведения, при зтом, естественно, нарушив гармонию (аккордовую последовательность), к которой мы привыкли за десятилетия. Другими словами выполнил авторскую аранжировку хорошо известного музыкального произведения. Тот, кто имеет музыкальное образование, восхищается и наслаждается игрой парнишки, а те, у кого музыкального образования нет, обсирают либо великолепное исполнение, либо настройку идеально настроенной гитары.

Patrick Pee, it is interesting how many of us human beings are thinking the same things concerning many subjects. Now, concerning the music industry there are many things to be told. Just like these two artists, there are many more, but the music industry is promoting just as you expessed it "commercial trash".
