One of the thousands of things that sucks with Fable 2 is this. When you wish for a resurrection of Rose, I expected to actually HAVE a resurrection of Rose, to actually meet and hug her or something. It would have been a beautiful ending and a fine conclusion (if you chose it) to a story, which, excluding the emotional sibling-arc, was rather frail and weak. This letter was a very cheap way for Lionhead to escape that issue, without needing to add any substance whatsoever.

She comes back to life if you choose the Love ending. She's just somewhere out there even though you can't visit her. I find it refreshing to know she's alive again tho.

It may be scythe as well, but in the letter, it does say he's scary. Also, jack of blades is only physically dead, not spiritually. and the queen of blades and knight of blades are still alive as well, they could attempt to bring him back. ( Look them up if you don't know who they are.)

they always just assume you pick the ending that has the most character just like they assumed you didn't kill your sister Theresa from the first one. your choices make your own fable. they just create the setting for you

Since she's dead, i belive she is in some sort of "spirit dimension" with Jack of Blades, look at a screenshot of him, he's thin, has a hood, and looks "scary" (To children). She wouldnt have talked about his mask, since it was destroyed in Fable 1.

and i think therasa might be the antagonist of fable 3 because she said at the end of the game "your wish is granted but the spire is mine. Begone." and also its almost a dead give away that she was helping lucien because he alwasy seemed to find them when theresa was around and at the end of the game when lucien shots your dog therasa disapears right before lucien appers and they ask him how did you find us and he said "i listened".

yea she said she woke up in a forest with trees and thats what that place called summer something something is where garth and reaver went to and aparently sythe is there now also. so when the hero wishes for his loved ones to be revived i think it brot his sister back also

i think that its from the see the future add-on and its you, if your evil, you can dissprove this by telling me if you were evil or good, but if you choose that ending, it makes you evil. so yea

I think the "guy" is the king of Albion, thus the letter, "I think he's like a King or something."

Scythe is probably the first Archon according to this information on Fable Wiki. The first Archon put on golden armor and a blue cloak, then vanished. Scythe could very well be the hero William Black, the king of the Old Kingdom Scythe is an ancient Hero and one of the oldest beings in Albion; Jack being the only one who has "seen and done more". Scythe is obsessed with cheating death and he has only managed to live for so long due to supernatural means.

The "Even Gods will Envy your power" part is from Fable 1, TLC. In the end you get a choice if you want to destroy Jack of Blades' mask for a good ending, or wear it for a bad ending... and apparently, it doesn't give you any special powers..

Why It HAS To Be Jack of Blades: 1) He knows their ffamily because he tried to kill the Hero from F1. 2) he wears a hooded coat that's kind of a light version of the Ranger Armor. 3) his face is scary because of the MASK. The Mask carries on Jack's spirit. 4) He would entice Rose into believing he was going to reunite Rose & the F2 Hero because he is cunning & manipulative 5) The Mask could obviously survive Archon's Folly. For all we know, The Cult of Blades could have ressurected him.

###Spoilers### There are three options: 1. Sacrifice (you lose your dog and whatever family you had, however the people who died making the spire will be brought back, and a statue will be made of you). 2. Love (Your family and dog will be brought back to life, but the spire workers will die). 3. Wealth (Dont choose this one, you only get cash and it is not worth it). Hope this helped.

THE THING THAT made me think it was Jack of Blades was because yeah she said he was scary and wore a hood... BUT.. in the first fable and TLC JoB (jack of blades) wanted to bring the heroes family together to activate the sword of aeons. In the end of the letter it said that he said "we'll be together again one day, he promised me" maybe to activate the sword? I know it was Scythe but...it's just an interesting thought.

My theory is when u choose the "love" part it revives ur family and ur dog. Since Rose is dead she might have been revived but with this hooded man in which i think is scythe( search up scythe if u dont know about him). She might have written this letter when she is revived

If you chose to become jack in F1 TLC then Jack posessed you and this is proven because of the Journal Entry Jack writes in the Hero's Journal. -Ethan.

I'm preety sure its archon(sythe), because on one of the loading screans it says that many people knew sythe because he was imortal, and some still think hes alive. and im almost postive that sythe was the first one to use the spire and he wished to rule the land and live forever. or maby its just the guildmaster

Just because you know one thing they didn't, doesn't mean you know more. And half of the story in Fable 3 is how you become king with your Fable 2 character's child and then there's a second half I think in which it's how you rule the kingdom. I don't mean to but in but I'm sorry. Rose is with Scythe. You're just gonna lose.

Well I think its the hero from Fable 1. When you chose the family card, you probably brought him back with rose. Even though he wasnt a king, he WAS a mayor. Could've worn a crown. Im just saying.

its sycthe who used to be archon legendary hero of will who has live on through supernatural means and becomes a necromancer on the website you can read the lore and it said archon used to wear a blue cloak and golden armour later in the timeline scythe pops up wearing a tattered blue cloak and golden armour . co-incedence. it seems as if they are one and the same even though it is never cleared up and is the same person in the letter looking after rose

rose said he looks like a king. jack with his red robes and jewlerey looks like a king. scyth looks nothing like a king. and jack is immortal through the mask. one theory is that the evil ending for tlc was chosen and the new jack of blades is the old hero from fable1. b/c if you look at one of the loading screens of fable2 it says "legends say that the hero of oakvale killed the guildmaster and carved 'your health is low'" on his forehead. so the evil ending could have been the true ending.

Definatly Scythe. Scythe used to be the first Archon, as proven by comparing some concept art of William Black (First Archon) and Scythe, and it's the same blue gold-lined robe. Plus, as said in the "Tales of Albion" part of the Fable 2 homepage, the Sword of Aeons granted William Black eternal life, but not youth. Meaning that after a few thousand years, he would look pretty nasty.

I know I probably missed a lot of stuff about who the guy in the note is, but why couldn't it just be the hero from the first one? I'm sure you guys have gotten the book "A hero from Oakvale" or whatever. It says that an offspring was never recorded or whatever. So you have a hero bloodline, it would have to be him. Since he's family as your great great great great or so grandmpa. And Scythe was immortal. What odds would he be to be with your sister when she came back? Hell why she be with him

I've only played fable 2 as well but I've heard a bit about scythe, all I know is that he is an immortal and dissapeared, many think that he died, meaning that the immortals weren't so immortal, I don't know what relevence he has in fable 2 though.

In this case your family is ressurected, which means that the hero from fable 1 is ressurected cuz he's your famo. i know this theory has holes but hey, it'd be awesome to have to fight the hero from f1.
