Fable, A Confusing Retrospective

Fable has been one of the biggest ways that I interact with the gaming world since I was first able to do so on my own. The games were some of the first ever games that I completed from start to finish. I hope this sort of review- and sort of retrospective is good!

I am definitely working on a much longer look at all the Fable games, including Fable Journeys, a few online only games, and then of course the unreleased Fable game. The Archon was William Black the first mortal to stand up to the Court of Blades demons/extradimensionals, killing the King and Queen and leaving Jack in that mask. He founded the society that eventually built the tower. (Though on the back of whatever society the Court of Blades had already built by enslaving humanity and monsters alike) He's also almost certainly Scythe from TLC.

12:48 Fable 2 Theresa and Kreia were very similar. For a while I thought they had the same VA.

I hated Fable 2's way of managing cloth on muscled characters. And also had to remove death to force COMPLETE replays just to change single decisions without risking the player getting stuck in a dungeon without enough healing items.

During my editing of these videos I learned a lot of things I didn't know that I wish I knew before setting out to create it all. I am working on a longer script right now, probably over 1, almost 2 hours long, where I'll be going through each of the Fable games, not just the mainline ones, and explain their lore, their gameplay, and everything else. There is just so much information that is packed into the background of the Fable universe that never gets told!
