Yes, Ravens are large birds. I remember this many years ago (1987) while lying reading (probably Douglas Adams) on the grass in Regents Park on a summers evening. A raven landed quite close to my feet and seemed to be taking a serious interest in me. I made an encouraging noise at it, (as you do), and it hopped closer. Well at this point I think, ‘blimey they’re a lot bigger close up’ (I know-Duh). I think I actually spoke to it then and I also noticed that other people who were enjoying the evening air were watching this exchange with amusement. So it hopped even closer and was now only a couple of feet away. Brief images of a particular Alfred Hitchcock film flashed across my mind as I thought, now what? As I sat up, it came even closer, so I stood up quickly and instead of being spooked as I expected, it actually moved right next to my foot and pecked at my shoe laces. Anyone who’s ever dropped something hard onto the top of their foot will know that it can hurt, as did this. I instinctively kicked out, so said raven flew very briefly into the air, landed next to me again, and this time managed to grab my lace starting a miniature tug-of-war with me. At this point these days every phone in the vicinity would be trained on me, alas there were no video cameras around to record the 21yo, 6ft tall, 13 stone soldier rapidly leaving the Regents Park heading for the nearest pub, having been beaten by a kg of Corvid. Possibly whilst thinking ‘…. A relaxing quiet read in the park… Nevermore! ‘. I still love them though.

Shes beautiful!! wow. I just seen her singing & talking by herself, wow its amazing how they mimic sounds. My Uncle Tommy found a raven years ago, she was injured. He called her Blackie, and he made a home for her under his back porch. We live in the city, in Philly, but in his yard, you would never know it was the city, as he had a garden, rabbits, a little pond - it was gorgeous! But, He ended up nursing Blackie back to good health, and she never completely left him, she lived there for years!! She could come & go as she pleased, and she always came home at night time to go to sleep. Uncle Tommy thinks she was with her Mum & family, as she was pretty young & small, and she must've got left behind when she got hurt. He guesses thats why she stayed with him & never left. Its kinda sad, but he absolutely loved her & she had a great life with him! He ended up moving after she passed away. Now he lives way up in the mountains, on a nice amount of land and he has chickens, hens & roosters and a big beautiful pond with koi fish, turtles, and wild ducks & geese come around in the summer time!! He has a little dog & now a stray cat just came up out of nowhere, so now he has a cat, too. He is the animal whisperer! LOL

What a lovely environment for her to enjoy. 😊 The fact she's in such beautiful condition and so playful should tell people she's very happy with her living arrangements! 😉

Ignore the negative comments, people like that have no understanding of the real world. Fable is a testament to your love and care, if she was unhappy, ill-kept or of ill health her plumage would be very dull, she wouldn't play or even interact with you. WELL DONE, YOU DO A GRAND JOB OF CARING FOR HER! 😊❤️😊

Not to worry Amy, people think crating puppies is cruel too. You've given her safety, enrichment & a bond. She's well cared for!

Wonderful to see Fable again ❤ Sorry to hear you've had keyboard 'activists' preaching their thoughts in sweet ignorance.

I like to call them trolls.. they disturbt and try to destroy with a ton of ignorance mixed in.

It's obvious that the people who posted bad comments haven't seen any of your other videos. Fable and your other birds all look really healthy and balanced. And you always take a lot of time to explain your work, show how you take care of your birds, etc. I can understand that some people may not like keeping birds in captivity, but saying you're birds are not treated well shows that they don't know anything about your work (and haven't tried to educate themselves). That being say, it's so cool to finally be able to see Fable outside!!

Anyone who has watched you for any length of time will know how much you care for your birds. Anyone who watches you with Fable, in particular, can see how enriched her life is, and how safe she feels exploring it because you are right there. It is amazing to see her in flight, and tremendous to realize how big and beautiful she is. I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. I always learn something, and I always feel welcomed back like an old friend. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO! **BOOP BOOP**

What an amazing scenery our dearest feathered lady lives in! And as always, it's so endearing to see how affectionate she is. She could go anywhere she wanted, but instead she'd rather be close to her bonding partner. I wonder what would happen if she was introduced to a juvenile male raven and if they could become friends.

Some folks just seem compelled to assume/push negativity about things they don't understand. You're a qualified expert in this field. Short of something atrociously obvious, if you say this is how it should be, I have no expertise to suggest otherwise. In my experience with other things, when people are genuine enthusiasts about something - like, really making it their thing - they learn all they can about it, and apply every bit of knowledge learned. I have the feeling that you carefully calculate every decision you make regarding those animals. Love what you do, and thank you for the content. Special thanks also to the lovely ladies, Fable and Kevin (Personal favorites😉).

That was so nice to see. It seems she's got an inside voice and an outside voice! I like how she waddles around exploring How far would you say she flys to? Always love your videos 🇨🇦❤️

As always, I'm ecstatic for the new content. I'm dismayed that anybody would make you feel like you have to justify the way you take care of Fable. You do a wonderful job!

There is no doubt Fable is healthy and very happily bonded with you, it is easy to see her unconditional love you and you for her! Ignore the armchair vets who want to seem to know more than everyone else. You are doing amazing and I love watching your videos :)

It was very interesting (and cool) to see that when she's in the Great Outdoors, Fable mostly uses wild raven calls. I love her to pieces!! And I greatly admire you for the love you have for her and she for you. Just wonderful.

I can never get over how large and lush Fable looks. I wonder if the size perception is partly because I don't usually see a Raven that close to a human face!

It’s absolutely delightful to watch you and Fable! As I was enjoying your video my cat came along and demanded my attention. Then he noticed Fable and sat to watch her too. I love and appreciate animals. Thanks for sharing beautiful Fable with us. ❤
