In the 70's and 80's there were such iconic vehicles the red tomato, the general Lee and bandit trans am also the A team van and many more then these cool rides dissapeared for many years but today a lucky few have the viewing pleasure of watching the iconic taco, morvair and banana (not present today but in are hearts) and Rudy's "burnt onion" (cause he's always having to give it the onion) so in closing thank you fabrats and morr for giving us back those feelings from are youth for these mechanical masterpieces.

A 2000-01 XJ does not surprisingly handle anything, I drove XJs all over Colorado for 12 years and did everything but the most extreme rock crawling because I had no cage, I crushed the sides like Rudy does in this vid though. Set of 33s, 4 inch lift, beefing up the steering to 1 inch is always a good idea but not needed, they will go anywhere. I never get stuck here in Michigan, winch just pulls out other people.

Yeah, I was impressed with Paul's rig. It and the Morrvair were the best of the group for sure. The few times that the Morrvair didn't make it up something was because Matt was just babying it and needed to give a little more gas. I'm looking forward to Paul's new rig he's working on. Something that's truly made for rock crawling unlike his Toyota that's really meant for hauling stuff into the backcountry.
