Why does this channel have more love than others like it? I suspect that it is the little stuff the editors add (not just the wholesome awesome people). Flashback videos in b/w, relevant little videos about the phrases they use, these are great ways to include the watchers AND I APPRECIATE THEM! "New boot goofin" or just an old cartoon that I didn't happen to know. I get so many of the quotes but love to see the ones, that I do not know, are explained with little videos. These are NOT needed for channel success but are appreciated.

Tip - Instead of twisting the daylights out of your wrist, get an impact-ready chuck for the 1/4" impact. You'll be a lot happier. I've been using my impact a lot more than my 3/8" drill. Works great with holesaws too.

Fenders are great just widen them and extend the running boards to them. Also think you'll need to run two light gage channel braces between the channel section where the 4 links weld to the rear of the frame under the cab to keep it from flexing under load, but you've gotten her to a point where even the where the original owner would love her.

Paul, that’s going to be awesome. In my opinion, and I’m just saying because I am a old painter myself, I would take it over to Robby’s and paint it. I would lay down a candy burgundy or say candy caramel, cinnamon color, with a tan interior or a dark grey color. I like tan because it gives it a nice contrast and shows less dirt or dust than other colors. That is just my opinion or preference though, it’s a awesome ride and is going to be a absolute blast to ride around in, can’t wait to see what you guys do next with it!

On the rear fenders, why not extend them out to the corner of the bed? That way it goes from running board and swoops up into the fender. This will also give you a bit more down force on the rear-end.

You might want frame connectors or you might end up seeing Robbie to straighten the frame once the frame suffers from the pretzel 🥨 effect caused by too much power that’s beyond what the frame can handle.

Unless you put drag slicks on it, the tires will roast before the frame gives out. It's a full frame already, so if it's not already boxed, that would help, but aside from caging it, there's nothing to connect. ✌️🐸

Now the truck is getting some quality to it. FORD 9" rear end. 😁Amazing how they are still the best small rear end for hot rods. I was just looking at the Brunt shoe last night. Their toe with the reinforced cover along the front is good, but my steel toes would be exposed on the top and the front tip. I used my boots to move a lot of stuff. All the people I worked with or knew had the same wear pattern. I am retired, no need for those now.

I couldn't resist commenting on the turn down tips. They look good and will do the job just fine for this truck but they reminded me of my dirt track days and they were not permitted (of all things something so simple) only because they stirred up too much dust in the pits. Which to be honest they did with all the air flow that passes thru a racing engine. On the other hand they did keep a lot of heat off the floorboards and if your headers ended close to the gas pedal the heel of your shoe would melt to the floor.
