Hi! These bows are sewn! If you wanted to add a dot of hot glue in the center after tying to keep it from untying, you can but it's not necessary!! This particular bow is made with 15"x 3" fabric. I would say it's in the small to medium range, so I would just adjust the measurements slightly based on how big you want the bow!! :)
