These are so elegant, even the less formal fabric ones look elegant. The button ephemera finishes them off beautifully. I was thinking about weddings. Whenever I attend I take a few pictures and get them printed to give to the newlyweds; what a wonderful presentation in one of these envelopes. We have a wedding to attend in a few days--the couple have moved the ceremony to the lake so that it can allow folks to attend in open air from a healthy distance--getting my zoom lens ready! The reception will take place when life gets back to normal.

My heart goes out to all the brides out there dreaming of their wedding day, only to now have to deal with this craziness. But it will be a story to tell!! You have a great idea to present the photos in a unique way. Beautiful :)

You are amazing. I watch your videos, not just to get ideas and be inspired (which I am - EVERY time...), but because you are just enjoyable to listen to. Truly, I gravitate to your junk journal videos the most. Your voice is so kind and your words are so encouraging and your crafty permutations are so beautiful. You make something so lovely seem achievable and simple. And even seeing your little boxes that you keep your bits in is so very helpful to this organizationally-challenged old mama. I wish you lived nearby... you are a sweet person with a very giving heart! Thank you so much for doing this! Bless you, dear heart!

Thanks for your clear and concise tutorials. Always enjoy watching them. I like seeing the directions printed out. On this particular one, I appreciate the tip on curving the fabric as you sew on the long sides....it did make all the difference in them laying flat when folded in to envelope. I've made a dozen so far!

Thank you for the inspiration and ideas! I took this idea a bit further. I trimmed the corners at an angle (like a tag shape) and then sewed. I put copy paper between 2 fabric pieces so it was lined and had a nice crinkly sound. I did some with small strips of fabric to make a sort of gusset on the sides. Now I need to make the snippets, closures, jewelry and decorate. Thank you so much for this wonderful series!

If you can and know how to die paper using fruit or other readily available things, that would be wonderful. The onion video was awesome particularly the different results). Another idea, and you have covered this in the past, is various embellishments not just for journals but also to use as gifts (together with ideas on how to put them together and overall presentation). Thanks again. Such fun!

Thank you so much for showing me how to do this, You make it so much easier to understand. It made seance to me when you were talking about bending the fabric while sewing, You were easing the tension. I have found that when I sew the presser foot sometimes will pull just a little harder on one side. Thank you so much for helping me.
