I save boxes and jars and tins that food comes in and clear plastic bottles. I cur the bottle just where it starts to narrow. I cover the tins and jars with paper that I also save and they make great storage containers for pens, pencils, paint brushes scissors, scrap wool and cottons. I use the cardboard from food boxes like serial for eg. it comes in handy for so many thing.

Good inspiration and food for thought. Thank you! I’m thinking of all the old recipe cards I have from my mother’s collection from the 60’s & 70’s that are sitting in a box. Easy to access when I want to cook, and fun to thumb through.
