I saw your Instagram post about this fabric and anxiously awaited this video. Those fabrics are gorgeous. You’re so lucky to have quality fabric stores near you. Be sure to add extra wide seam allowances if you’re using a woven fabric with a knit pattern -- yep, I learned that one the hard way but it stuck so all good.

Your New Year's Eve dress will be STUNNING in that amazing fabric! 🤩 I have that pattern too, I just used a pretty cotton lawn to make a little Summer dress, but I am intrigued to see how it translates into a more luxurious fabric 😊 The colour is divine, it will really bring out the colour of your eyes. Can't wait to see it!

My wedding dress was in the cloque fabric, your blue is absolutely stunning, but the colour a little too avant garde even in 1967! Can’t wait to see the completed dress. Have a wonderful New Year’s event.

Lovely fabrics Lizzie. I’m assuming the cardigan fabrics are non stretch? I like the idea though. I’m always cold so need another layer over most things. I’m thinking of making a big cardigan after Christmas with cloque fabric( the very popular cable knit). Cloque means embossed so it’s often referred to on fabric sites. Many thanks for sharing.
