I didn't know about this, very interesting. At first glance, it seems to streamline some things that, although possibile in TD, take a lot more "coding". I had the same experience with Blender for modeling. Shouldn't really be a surprise of course, but being used to do everything in TD including modeling, it kinda was.

Will you still upload TD content in the future? I have had a small notch introduction in school 2weeks ago. But because i'm a mac user and there where only 3 usb keys for notch available in class, I needed a similar program, now i use Touchdesigner. So i've been learning from you ever since, following your tutorials. Tutorials like these are absolutely necessary for people who are trying to learn something like this on their own . Keep the content coming i really like your work!!!

Cool ! Good to see you post tutorials about Notch too ! Any particular reason why you're not using the Clone to Particles node here ?

Thanks! Well I needed a system that emits and attracts particles. Using Clone to Particle node would just enable me to create clones based on a particle system, but wouldn't allow me to draw these fabric like structures (trails)

Notch looks really interesting, although there is a big annoying fact I can't seem to look away from: the UI. Being a designer is hard to ignore software that is just ugly to work with. I'd like to know your experience with this. Has it bothered you in any way? Thanks for all you do!

Thanks! It's not a switch, I'm just expanding my toolset. I feel like Notch is just better for visuals, especially 3D and I believe I can realize my visions better. I'll keep using TD for sure tho, I'm especially interested in combining them
