This fabric manipulation technique uses fabric slashing with tucks for amazing results!
Hello I'm Sally an art and textiles teacher who set up my small teaching business @didsburyartstudio after leaving my full-time teaching job in a school in the UK. Since then I have been exploring my passion for art/textiles by building up a portfolio of new skills from courses I have been on and a recent Internship in Millinery. I supply teach in secondary schools, run textile workshops and also work part-time in a hospital teaching art.

Hi Yukino if you are talking about the shiny appearance you could also look at charmeuse, crepe, organza and taffeta to layer up....🤔

Hi, The texture I am referring is the looser threads which could be seen to show the threads out of the satin, is there like any other fabrics that also can achieve this?
