have you tried washing any fabric that you hydro dipped? and is the fabric a little stiff after hydro dipping?

No I haven't needed to. Yes for sure the fabric does get a little stiff after hydro dipping...it's still worth doing though! enjoy

Its a beautiful pattern but I'm getting confused on the second row part, there's no video instruction showing how to do it. The verbal instructions at 6:00 - 6:03 where you do the stitching on the right side and then the left side where you just stitch and pull, is it on the same thread? or do you tie a knot, cut the thread, and start again on the stitch and pull on left diagonal side? I tried it and the pattern doesn't look as neat as yours.

Hi there Raven-j8y! yes you use the same thread on the left side too. Don't cut your thread... Good luck...it's such a fantastic design. What sort of fabric are you using? satin works particularly well I think.

Hi yes no probs look at the video at 4.20 minutes in...it's just runner stitch and then draw the threads in, dye the fabric and then pull the threads out.😄 thanks so much for watching!

Hi 3 things you can do to preserve mixed media work - paint spectria fix over the work, rub gamblin cold wax medium into work, or lay a waxed sheet (baked parchment) to protect work. thanks
