Soy based fabric??!! Wow! The colour of that jersey is just sssoooo lovely. Actually I loved the mustard and the starry night fabrics too. Great shopping skills!

Yeah I had no idea soy fabric was a thing! I want to look more into process of how it’s made, and see how the fabric holds up. I just washed it and I can’t wait to cut into it!

Love your plans and fabric choices I definitely think you should make up the aster and layer it over a sweater for winter. You’ve inspired me and now I want to do that. It would go great over my merino turtle neck.

Sounds so cosy!

I’m feeling that pattern meme. I told myself that I can’t buy another pattern this year because I have SO. MANY. I’m sure I will not be able to manage that goal but we will see 😂

Haha. Same. I’m allowing myself a few more fabric purchases before the year is out, but trying really hard to not do any new patterns. 😬

You could put velcro on the back of the patches and then the opposite side of the velcro on various spots on the jacket. Then the patches could be moved from jacket to jacket

Ooh love that idea!

Not gonna lie... there were so many sales and I did NOT hold back. It's really kind of a blur. I don't separate my wardrobe by season, I prefer to layer with cardigans and over the knee socks. I am super excited about a couple of cardigans like the itch to stitch Paro and EK sewing round hem Cardigan. I wear dresses everyday so I know I picked up some dress patterns, but I am most excited about the layering pieces. Cashmerette also has a great new layering piece that launched this month for members called Catskills. I have to make that one as well.

I’ll have to check out those cardigans. They sound so cosy!

That soy knit looks to be the same (same color even!) that was included in this quarter's cool toned garment swatch selection from @theconfidentstitch. They did a video where they go over shrinkage and more details on the fabrics.

Sweet! I’ll check that out! Thanks!

The brown gingham is fabulous and I've already ordered the Aster pattern because it looks classic yet beginner friendly. What pattern are you wearing please? It is lovely on you. And the mustard fabric is gorgeous. Really enjoy your videos.

Thanks! It’s a hack of the Wren dress by Chalk + Notch. I de-puffed the sleeves, shortened the bodice and added gathered tiers as the skirt.
