Hey, my loves, I am back with another fabric stash haul video, I haven't filmed one of these since last summer so it is time I showed you my latest fabric purchases! In this video, I show my latest fabrics to make my stash and talk through what I plan on making with them. I hope you enjoy this video.

That gorgeous William Morris fabric would make a beautiful shirt dress. Maybe a bit to thin for a pinafore. I've been sewing a long time and have made all these mistakes with wrong fabric for wrong patterns and I dont want you to end up wasting your stunning fabric. Hope you dont mind me saying. I don't want to come across as condescending just wanting you to be happy with your end results. 🙂😊🙂😊

The William Morris fabric On Alex Judge sews she has used that exact fabric She made a blouse But a simple dress would be lovely You should reach out to her she would be helpful in what she thought about that fabric Can't wait to see your coat I made a black and white check coat the plaid matching is not so bad use the notches to line it up Where they will be put together Easier than I thought Happy sewing Take care

I think that lovely coat fabric is too thick for that coat pattern. Something like a shawl collar coatigan would be better imho. Maybe the Saphora coat? Also jersey lining is too stretchy and if you want to get the coat on and off and you have a top with sleeves on it would be a real problem getting it on and off. Wait for that lining 😗

Matching plaids fold fabric in thirds if wide enough can lay pattern pieces side by side and still watch straight of grain and follow your plaid placement just a thought only work if a wide width fabric ! ! Like 60 inches

I have that Morris print in another colourway. I absolutely love Morris prints. That pink teddy fabric is going to be perfect

Nice stash. I sew with stretch velvet a lot. May I suggest you not make a blazer, but something simpler because it rolls like crazy, and it does not lend itself to crisp collars. I love the William Morris fabric and agree it would be a darling pinafore. I also have made 6-7 coatigan out of the curly fabric. It doesn't need a lining because the backing is smooth. Just my thoughts.

oooooh that last fabric is amazing!!!! i mean they are all amazing but still! im walking down a very dangerous road looking at minerva craft, ive just spotted some lady mcelroy yellow check wool which would be amazing for a jane banks eqse coat, but i am nowhere near the level of experience to make it yet!

Omg!! I have that exact pink check coat fabric, is it viscose/poly blend? I've had it for 2 years, now I'm inspired to make a spring coaty jacket with it! 🥰 Love your plans, can't wait to see all the lovely things you make 💜🤩
