Thank you SO MUCH for this video! I'm in the US so I just loved this tour of the Liberty hallowed ground :) Hoping my travels take me to the UK soon.

Fantastic tour! My wish would be that one day we could virtually "shop " with a tour like this. See a fabric you like, hit the pause button and order how many yards you'd like! Wouldn't that be fabulous?

Thank you for this girls. I visit my daughter in London quite frequently but it is a few months since I have visited Liberty . I love their new look, fabulously artistic fixtures and fittings.

5 years after you posted, watching as popped up in my feed... I got to shop at Liberty's London store about 20 years ago--when the fabric was still theirs (and still have some uncut). So glad it's still (nearly) the same & that via internet & folks like you, I can virtually visit & shop for it from NW corner of US! 😅

Massive improvement on the last time I went there October 2016 when there were a quarter the number of shelves and very little fabric. Glad to see it has recaptured some of it's former glory although not a patch on how it was in the late 70's early 80's.

The fabrics are just lovely! I hope to travel to England one day and Liberty of London is on my "must visit" spots. I'm so sad we have nothing like this in the US. Thank you for the virtual tour.

You captured the couple walking through... she looked like she was having a lovely time... he had a look on his face that read... “how fast can I get her out of here” LOL

I went to Liberty when I was in London in 2010. I was only Quilting then and the patterns and colours weren't my thing but I spent a couple of hours just wandering around. It is a beautifully presented shop. I did buy 6 pencils though lol

This was just delightful, I adored seeing all the fabrics and buttons!! I'm from the US so I'm nowhere near a Liberty shop .... thanks for sharing!! Amazing you didn't buy anything!! 😇😇

What a feast for your eyes. Our big fabric store just closed here 😕 now we only have one chain store and they do not have nice fabrics. I will have to shop online.

Did you have to do this 'sneakily' or ask permission? Doesn't it all just look fantastic - there were a couple of patterns that called out to me while you were panning around ;-)
@StitchSisters7 жыл бұрын
We just went in and did it, were we supposed to ask permission ???
@denbeesewswhat98417 жыл бұрын
No idea but lets face it you have just put them on the list of places to visit for any sewers coming from overseas to visit London so I think they should be giving you at least a metre each of free fabric LOL LOL
@user-ff2sj5zv8v7 жыл бұрын
LOL you'd be lucky to find anyone to ask.

Boring and no way anywhere close to Souleiado ... Liberty just looks like cheap housecoat material.

Never heard of Souleiado looked it up etc not even close to Liberty of London etc maybe you need to have your eyes checked
