Hi Anita yes weather has gone down the tubes but at least you can get some holiday wear in. We're going to Suffolk in September so think l need to start making jumpers and cardies 😂. On to the third Jennifer Lauren Kinfolk dress after some tweaks and have some lightweight fine floral needlecord from Andrea at Beyond the Pink Door that l've been saving so that will be no 4 and nice for Autumn. I do have her Juniper cardie cut out for a practice version. Work proper gets in the way of sewing!! Looking forward to seeing your next makes. Take care ❤️

Ah Brenda, the weather is up and down like a yo yo right now - I am with you on the cardi idea. I also have the juniper cardi pattern, and I keep meaning to dig it out. You have also reminded me again of the kinfolk dress! You have really got me excited about that one, oh my word, I need more hours in the day 😆💕 xx

@@sewingyogi l was putting off the Juniper as being complicated with the shoulders but instructions are fab and l'm doing fine but it's definitely just a practice run. Lengthen the bodice but forgot to lengthen the neckband 🙄. Bought my first overlocker in June so it's all good practice 🤣 Happy sewing 🧵 xx

Your Rhea dress is lovely Anita, such a shame you had to unpick and alter it. Norhing worse is there! Our summer is rubbish this year isn't it...i havent sewn much at all, as haven't felt inspired to sew pretty dresses...in fact I've been making outerwear lol xx

Ah thank you Karen, lol, I was rolling my eyes at having to unpick the Rhea, I feel like I'm always unpicking all my projects right now! 😅 my brain is so foggy. Im wirh you on the dress making, I think outerwear is a great idea. I need to take a leaf out of your book & be brave...start on a jacket I want to make, and bin off the dresses for now 🤩 xx

It was so funny as whenever there is a competition/prize and a draw for the winner I always shout out my name at the same time as the person makes the draw. So Elainer was the first winner and I rolled my eyes in jest and then did the same for the second draw and you said my name. The shock I had, I played it again even though I saw my name. It just made me laugh. I can't believe I won. Thank you so much. Decisions as to what to make with the gorgeous fabric. I'm only a confident beginner with dressmaking. I'm so chuffed. I'm thinking the Martha Top by Dressmakers Closet as not sure how much fabric there was. There are a few dresses as well on my list if there is more than required for the Martha Top
