Part one of building my custom tail panel for the charger is underway. I'm excited to bring this idea I have had for a while, to life finally. Stayed tuned for part two as I plan on wrapping it up in that video and showing you guys a glimpse of what the tail light itself will look like.

My vote is to put out a video of what you have completed each week, even if the part is not complete we can see your progress. I think this way you wouldn’t feel rushed to get a certain piece completed in order to put out a video. Amazing work as always!!!

It has worked for TV for 70 years: pick a day of the week, and a time of that day, and upload it no matter what you got. The ritual will please us and motivate you. Win/win!

Total genius decision to open the rear panel to match the front, simple yet complex design and styling integration that should have been done the the original tail panel.

Haven't missed a video since you were working on the 225 in the duster. Son you just keep doing you, screw everyone else's opinion. As a fellow perfectionist I get the struggle inside your head just trying to build something. With everything else you have going, school, work, a life, etc. on top of having to do everything you want in the hardest possible ways due to the lack of funds for space, tools and materials. Whenever you get around to posting a video, we'll be here to watch it. Don't be concerned about that.

First, this build looks awesome, you have some fabricating skills! Second, do what you need to do to put out quality content. The KZbin gurus who say you have to publish every week also make videos that consist of them talking, not fabricating a car from parts. Don't burn yourself out. Third, when you do make a new video, go back to your last one and add it to the end card. That's where I found you, and if I hadn't gone to your page I wouldn't have known about this video. Make it easy for people to watch your stuff. Can't wait for the next installment!

Thank you, I appreciate all the feedback and advice. Trying to stay consistent and up to date is my biggest goal. I felt like I was, but at some point it has to be stepped up. We’ll give it a shot and see what’s happens🤙

You actually have a car again not just a roof! I think the solid rear light bar is actually a great Idea. It adds a touch of "modern" to a classic. Ultimately though I feel like that's what a project car is all about, even with my Torino I'm not going to build it to "Factory Spec" I've got some cool Ideas that will make it look quite different and might piss off the Ford fanatics, but it's my car! Ultimately it's the culmination of the time and effort invested into building what you want and crafting a car that is truly yours. I love it.

I'll say it again, your vision, talent, patience and dedication are phenomenal! You are in a tiny storage unit without many of the "necessary" tools and resources that many of us think we need, AND you are going through college. I cannot imagine where you will be in 10 years, but it will be leading the field of car crafters.

I’m with some of the others. Create enough content for 30-60 min, regardless of what you get done. Something that half ass customs does is create a realistic expectation at the beginning of the video. “Today I think I’d like to get such and such done.” Sometimes he does, & sometimes he doesn’t. No one cares. We just like good content. Also something to consider: keep your talking intro short. 3 min or less. Then do voice over while you are time lapsing if you have to explain things. First time watcher and subscribing! Keep up the good work

With the rear panel cut out, how do you plan to compensate the loss of vertical stiffness of the trunk latch area?
@camracing

The plan is to have the deck-lid on quick pins. So in theory, it shouldn’t affect it too much considering there will be no pressure in that area with no truck latch.
